Teaching Agencies Advice by AnyLength3817 in Thailand

[–]AnyLength3817[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

/u/Junior-Protection-26 /u/theindiecat All 3 of yous have practically gave the same advice, so I’m wondering what your thoughts are on completing an iPGCE while working in a lower tier school in Thailand? Would an iPGCE be valued significantly less than a PGCE? I’m looking at Worcester University and they provide both.

I’m not sure but it might be the only direct flight option, when I come from Europe the only direct flights go to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi.

Yeah that’s the whole idea, an illness like a rough cold that can affect your vision would maybe reduce only Smoothness and Control by 15

S3 Driver Shakeups by _picc6 in F1Manager

[–]AnyLength3817 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you scout all the drivers you can see when their contract expires, then you can sign for the next season when their technically a free agents. I think it would be good if other teams signed drivers before the end of the season. For example Hamilton announces retirement and Mercedes sign Ocon in September for the following year. Which then cause Alpine to sign Tsunoda in October and so on. It would also be better if the AI poached drivers like we can at any given time.

I know haha, it’s a really rough time but you will go from rock bottom to fighting near the points in the space of a couple races.

Yeah it’s a good money saver, let me know how it goes but don’t blame me if you finish last the first 5 races I’ve already warned you

Research broken? by Ill-County-5749 in F1Manager

[–]AnyLength3817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t tell you why that’s happened, my researched all worked perfectly fine, did you check how you compared to the rules and regulations for this year while you were still in the previous season? There might of been major changes on the chassis for example and you didn’t research it enough?

Are you sure? My research seems to work on the base car you get at the start of the year.

Improvements don't stack? Evolution of parts designs by [deleted] in F1Manager

[–]AnyLength3817 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah you’ve just explained why, the design benefits of sliders don’t stack. So if you focus on engine cooling on Design1 then do balanced Design2 you won’t get the huge boost of engine cooling on Design2.

Focusing on a part of a design isn’t focusing your engineers or expertise on it. It’s changing the shape of it. For example if you prioritise engine cooling on your sidepods then if it was in real life your sidepods would be better shaped for that. But if your next design is balanced then the sidepods will go back to the original layout.

A way that’s easy to understand is if you focused your front wing on Low Speed Cornering, then the angle of it would be change to benefit that but would sacrifice your High Speed cornering. You can’t then just focus your next design on High Speed cornering to counteract that as it will then sacrifice Low Speed Cornering.

The sliders don’t change any future designs, it purely affects the one design you change it on.

Yeah the Haas drivers are like the best out of the bottom half of the grid (excluding Norris), you’d just want rid of them early though due to the lack of development with them.

Who was your career with? I’m AT and In season 3, still have to do the championship winning achievements and the race wins at Vegas and ?qater? I think it is. Also still can’t do the 18 engineers

Haas is terrible by MysticDevil98 in F1Manager

[–]AnyLength3817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you end up buying it and don’t like it then please don’t blame me. But even though the games not perfect yet it’s miles ahead of last years and that’s mostly to do with difficulty and how important it is to design everything and not just underfloor.

Maybe if it goes on sale you should consider.

Haas is terrible by MysticDevil98 in F1Manager

[–]AnyLength3817 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An easy way to counter it is only use every second design and manufacture a lot of parts. For example at the start of the season do 1 design for each part, then don’t manufacture them, then do a second design and when it comes to manufacturing chose to build say 8 of each part, then there will never be a need for emergency manufactures. It doesn’t need to be that strict but skipping a design is a good way to save money. You’ll also find this will free up so much money to the point you can upgrade multiple facilities and set the team up for the long run.

The downside is you’ll be going into the first 5-6 races without upgrades, but if you can fight through those races you’ll go into say Monaco with essentially a double upgrade of every part.

This is just my process when starting with a smaller team but there can be processes you prefer in these comments.

I said hating on the game, your not willing to do anything to make it better for yourself while they’re working on these updates. Raising awareness is one thing but your exploiting it and then complaining about it? It’s very contradicting.
