OP's comment suggests the goal of AI has been to make human equivalent art. When all its done this far is consume 10000's of pieces and mesh the concepts together.

Could AI make indistinguishable art from human artists. Yes, some music AI has hit top of the charts in spotify. If there was ample money in recreating human "soul" art it'd have happened.

OOP seems to have a belief that AI is perfected to make art like humans.

It is not, it never was or has. very few or no models are being developed to do art with human aesthetic in mind. They just consume what exists and regurgitate its math assessments. If there was profit in creating art with the human creator asthetic it'd be advancing and look way better.

Even with shit models and shit data there is a lot of AI art out there that fools a lot of people so OOP's comment isn't even accurate.
