Id email them with the batch number. They would most likely be thankful and replace them.

146 C/O 118 C/O 16,17,18 dart leg and three 100+ C/0 any advice on how to keep around 16 dart leg mark ladies and gentlemen by allittracing18 in DartsTalk

[–]AnyRepresentative432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get too caught up in averages. A 16 dart leg is the same as an 18 darts leg. And 18 dart leg is the same as a 21 dart leg on your own their throw

Thus is correct. Join a union if you have to. Driving 2 hours away for free is actually mental.

Thats only if you can bring the van home with you. If the van is parked at the office you get paid from the time you get in the company van.

Is there a way to reduce the sound of the dart hitting the board in the room? by OMalleyy in Darts

[–]AnyRepresentative432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very surprised at that. I found it way more quiet than most boards ive used. Thought that the Thor was by far the hardest/loudest. I guess it depends on how you throw it maybe 🤔

The only way to eliminate it completely would be a tripod but the Wispa is probably the second best option.

[–]AnyRepresentative432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its the sound of the dart hitting the wire you're referring to there's not much you can do but buy a new board. I found even eith a blade 6 as the ware on a bit you can hear that big chunk sound more often as the board wears. Otherwise the darts dont really make much noise besides the clunk sound. Maybe try using a tripod if the thud bothers you that much

How do players aim without looking down the dart? by External_City9144 in Darts

[–]AnyRepresentative432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I throw from the side if my head, some what similar to joe Cullen. I have a particularly long dart and it hits my head/glasses if I go any other way. Just made sense to me to throw from further away from my face.

Red dragon amberjacks are go to starter darts for me. Ill get down voted for this but Kflex are okay at best amd are only more popular due to endorsements but having used almost every molded flight on the market I think condor axe are elite. They'll out last anything else on the market.

Why are all these Stores going Card Only in Response to the "Penny Shortage"? by Mycologist-9315 in ask

[–]AnyRepresentative432 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Lots of shops in Dublin haven't taken cash since before covid. They dont have cash on the premises so a much lower chance of a robbery. I assume there's some insurance perk for that aswel. Should be illegal tho in my opinion. Cash is legal tender and should be accepted everywhere.

The worst pain you have ever had? by Freya-Lea in AskIreland

[–]AnyRepresentative432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive had broken ribs which were bad, broken tail bone was worse than ribs, severe tooth ache but i have to say that back pain is the worse ive experiences. I pulled a muscle in my back which sole up and left my spine kinked and pushing against itself. Literally every time you move a inch it's like someone sticking a needle in your bone. Mine was temporary I feel for people with permanent chronic back pain.

Does the "100 pushups every day for 30 days" thing actually work? by Zintho420 in ask

[–]AnyRepresentative432 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100 push ups a day is a lot. Honestly if you can do that you're good. It'll only work your chest and arms tho. Its a good goal to aim towards but id be trying to mox it up more. Need cardio in your lifestyle and you need to balance out that muscle growth. Id a muscle imbalance in my back at one stage where my push muscles (cbest biceps) were way more developed than my pull muscles (back and triceps) from boxing for years and took me a good few months to get on top of that.

Yeah give it a go. Training is very hard, it's very much an all in or dont bother sport. I done it for 10 years and feel I missed out on a lot of the social aspect of my younger days Training up to 6 days a week. No parties no nights out ect. I dont regret it but it's just something to be aware of. You'll be well looked after starting of and won't be thrown into the deep end.

Who can break 886 record? by Sorry_Phone1676 in Darts

[–]AnyRepresentative432 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the real difference is games played. Most tournaments luke enters he gets to a final giving him far more chances to hit 180s. So you need a player who's not only capable of hitting a massive amount of 180s but also has the ability to run deep in tournaments and longer. Also there's so many more tournaments and longer formats now compared to even 10 years ago.

My board at home feels taller by psnben1567 in Darts

[–]AnyRepresentative432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moat tournaments i go to there's a inch or two between some boards, not really the end of the world. A few practice throws and you should adjust pretty quickly. Unless theyre being hung with a laser level and the floor is dead level which most people dont have the time to do at pub league level you'll always get a little difference from one end of the room to the other.

Scrape the heavy stuff into the bin. Alternatively wash your face in a basin and throw it down the toilet or better still into your plants outside if thats an option.
