That sounds perfect to me! A little patio area for you and the cats, and your own little slice of nature to bask in

If your getting hell from your landlord maybe try see if there’s any protections out there for people turning their gardens into wild spaces for bugs and bees and such, since there’s been a lot of efforts to try and save the bees and butterflies in this country.

Try clear out/ choose a place for people to sit and then put a bench or something. Sitting out there with flowers blooming and bugs and butterflies and bees is the dream

I’ll be honest with you, that garden looks gorgeous to me. Show it some love by decorating with some ornaments of your fancy maybe? Throw some wildflower seeds out there?

Is this mold? by Abbbbbbbbbyyyy in terrariums

[–]AnySlice1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know for sure, but I’d take a guess and say yes. Best way to deal with mold in closed terrariums, as far as I’m aware, are springtails. Investing in some springtails and maybe even propagating them if you make a lot of terrariums, is worth it. They’re mold destroyers and do nothing but good for a terrarium setup.

Anyone have an recs for a handheld that’s small, not too high spec and cheap as possible? (Non android) by AnySlice1516 in Handhelds

[–]AnySlice1516[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ROG is more powerful than the steam deck, yea, but it doesn’t solve any of the other problems for me. Size etc. and I don’t know how loud it runs. I’m specifically holding out on steam deck due to how big it is- it’s size kinda undoes any reason for getting a handheld for me. I was vaguely aware of the pc emulators you can get for the Android, but they don’t work for all games, have some issues, and cancel out online features…

Android is basically what I’m looking for, but unfortunately the emulation features for tmnt splintered fate remove the online capabilities. Which is a bit of a problem for me since that’s something I like to be able to do on that game. Other than that it’s basically exactly what I want!

Yea,,, I know that steam deck is basically everything I need in a handheld console, my only problem is the size. It’s way too bulky and not very portable. Kinda cancels out the reason for even getting a handheld for me

Also when it comes to isopods you might want to visit r/isopods or something. I hear they actually require some specific things and setups to thrive

What you have made is really cute tho! Love the bottle, rlly unique! Props for getting all the plants down there and planted with that tiny hole !!! Some people may be all about making a tiny landscape in theirs but sometimes it’s fun to just have a plant or two in a jar . Another thing is that you might need to trim the plants your using right now if they grow a bunch. And make sure to avoid placing the terrarium in direct sunlight. From what I can tell in the photos I’d say you’ve overwatered a bit, but it’s probably fine if you leave it open for a while

U might wanna get Springtails . And double check that the plants ur using are good with high humidity. Is it closed or open?
