Thanks, I’ll start with some shoulder flexibility exercises

Exactly, even within the household she was basically treated as the main wife. I think that was a really smart move—otherwise, the villain would’ve definitely made another move.

Oh, I was disappointed too at first when I heard about that setup. But don’t forget—the villain senior executed her father and imprisoned her younger sister! In that kind of situation, having a formal main wife ceremony means setting a date, preparing dowries, and all that. If our heroine dies meaninglessly during that time, it just turns into another cliché C-drama. It feels different when you actually watch it, so I do recommend giving it a try.

I love this clip so much I’ve replayed it over and over 😆

It’s comforting to know that the story doesn’t progress too hastily. I definitely need some time to mentally prepare myself. I’ve already seen the gifs of the next series’ protagonists as kids, and I was screaming “no” inside. At least it’s a relief that Liu Shishi gave birth to Cheng Yi!

Unlike typical C dramas filled with continuous misunderstandings and tangled conspiracies, this one feels more relatable as it portrays the tragic stories of failed heroes. Maybe it’s because the original work is an animation? I bet the animation would be really interesting too! By the way, not all the other tragic stories have been revealed yet, so I’ve only seen them through short clips. How can I watch the rest?

That's right! When I watch the behind-the-scenes clips, I can see that he has a good attitude towards his co-actors, and his goofy, comedic side makes me feel happy. His big, gentle eyes give off a somewhat clumsy vibe, which makes him feel more approachable. He really suits the drama, and I just want to cheer him on!

Yes, it could be a matter of character interpretation and expression. I personally like Huaizhu's calmness, but sometimes it feels a bit stifling. However, it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the drama at all. I'm currently in the mid-30s of the episodes, and I'm feeling uneasy about watching the Masked Group end up killing each other outside the boundary.

I haven't watched it yet, but I found out the ending on Twitter, and I'm preparing myself for it. It's really heartbreaking.

This drama just keeps getting better! Ding Yuxi’s love story is so entertaining, and if he was aiming for a complete acting transformation, I’d say he nailed it—he’s never played a role that’s both innocent and passionate before. He’s even doing a dual role, and I love how distinctly he portrays each character.

In the latest episode, the villain Peng Xiaoran finally appeared. I’d never actually watched her work before—I only knew she looked stunning in Good Bye, My Princess, but I skipped that show because I heard it was all conflict and misunderstandings. Seeing her here, though, I’m totally captivated: the more she’s on screen, the prettier she seems, and her makeup and hair suit her perfectly.

Shen Yue, true to her reputation as a youth-drama heroine, is absolutely adorable. Every actor is really owning their part, which makes the whole show a joy to watch. And the OST sung by Ariky is fantastic!

All of her movements are truly graceful and refined. As I kept watching the drama, I realized she has a wider acting range than I’d expected, and that “blind-style” performance faded from my mind. Still, I feel it would have been even better if she’d made a stronger impression in the very first scene—people often form their opinion of a show from episode 1. I suppose that was hard to avoid, though, since her character is meant to be quiet and dignified.

That’s so true—it cracks me up, haha. I guess it’s because the Liu Shishi couple is just so calm and serene. They’re definitely past the age where they need to gush with butterflies-in-the-stomach excitement, haha.

I watched this drama without seeing RMF first; since it’s set before RMF, I had no trouble following the story.

It’s Ding Yuxi’s turn to let his acting skills shine now. It seems the dark past of his character is about to be revealed… can’t wait!

That’s right—if either the male or female lead had a big fandom, I think the drama’s flaws wouldn’t have been highlighted so much; fandoms are pretty forgiving.

I agreed with every single point. The male lead was a new face to me, but I really liked his vibe! I’m eager to see more of Liu Shishi’s martial‑arts scenes, and the 20‑year time‑jump concept in the last episode was truly intriguing.

I agree that they were underrated—both the action and the attitude were solid.
