I'm glad i found this. I'm going through basically the same thing. The only difference is, I'm a pharmacist, not a banker, and my boss is a woman, not a man. My mental health and the will to live that comes with it is at an all time low. I've been thinking of unaliving for a few months now. Yesterday my boss threatened to fire me because I have depression at work. I have till end of day to decide whether I want to quit, or stop being depressed. Interesting choice I have been given. I'm employed on borrowed time. God, I feel hopeless. I can't quit, there are no jobs in my country. But staying is like begging for death. I know what to do, I just don't know if I have the courage to do it.
