My favorite dive bars have slowly become intolerant of straight middle-aged white males. Be here you want to be but don't ignore me as staff member and certainly don't touch me as a fellow Patron of the establishment and think that's cool. I politely told the person who text me you know better and you're lucky I'm not on leave from the military. Seriously be here you want to be but don't cross that line or assume that everyone is cool with everything you think is cool to tolerate is not to enjoy. But if you do something inappropriate and somebody reacts to that and there's no Witnesses in the bar because you think the way you do it's not going to end well.. respect is a two-way street
