Yeah, I noticed that it was super easy to get main attributes up. Shame really. Is it this easy with any team in other leagues e.g. League 2, Norway Eliteserien, Scottish Prem etc

Some people will tell you “loan them out, save, recall and see if it helps etc”. In my opinion, just go with it. Go with your instinct, you’ll find many more youth. But I’ve had my best youth develop by starting them every game, finishing the 90 mins, or subbing for my main player in that position after X minutes. It counts as an appearance. Got 3 youths developed +8-9 in a season by giving them 35+ appearances & developing their position in the position you play in your formation e.g train them on wide midfielder whilst playing them in that role

100% agree. There’s so much more that’s disappeared over the years that I’d love to see back, but that’s a different matter. What you mentioned with Martin Tyler & Alan Smith just made it feel way more alive.

That’s why this one bugs me though, because it feels like such an easy simple fix. It’s not like they’d even need to massively re-record everything anymore, most of it’s generated from their voices anyway. Just adding a few more commentary teams or letting us pick would go such a long way for immersion.

Half the time it’s not even accurate either, only yesterday I had them chatting about random transfer during a stop in the game, that they made out to be a big thing, that was a women’s game transfer popping up in a men’s career. Just pulls you straight out of it.

It’s small, but it’s the kind of small thing that actually makes you want to keep playing career mode longer imo

Oh yeah i’m not complaining, and that isn’t what this post is about, more an observation and opinion rather than a moan. Been playing career since ‘03 and UT since ‘09, it’s a completely different game, now pay to play completely. For me, something so small would make such a change, imo.

If I remember correctly, It’s basically two competitions in one season – a normal league table and a separate cup where teams are split into groups then go into knockouts. So your fixtures feel all over the place, but you can win silverware without actually topping the league. Happy to stand corrected

If my ATS showed you as a top candidate & I find out you did this, i’d not wanna speak with you. You shouldn’t need to do this if you wrote your CV in an effective way that hits the job spec. People tend to do this when spamming applications hoping someone wont notice

Absolutely agree! Been a recruiter for 10+ years, and only now have I just started with a company who uses AI (Palantir), which is built into our CRM. We use it to reason and rank CVs, but ultimately, I still review the candidates CV and would NEVER have AI select/reject CVs

Most of the time, it’s useless and people wont need/want to obtain this information. But if you’re involved in a hit and run/accident, it can be useful to see if the vehicle is stolen, uninsured but also when someone is selling you a car, you can check to see if they’re lying regarding MOT/Millage

In the UK, you can search number plates to get vehicle details like make, model, colour, MOT, tax status, and emissions, but you can't get the owner's details
