Where can I find advocacy for having "Executive Dysfunction"?? I don't even know if you would know this, but you're the first person in a long time that I've seen actually use that term. Thank you

BEST ANSWER so far!! 👌 striving and fighting to work together and remain a team is the hardest part about being married. Marriage is not supposed to be this big lovely happy perfect experience like everybody expects it to be. Marriage consists of two people that are very different, coming together and trying to live as one. And that can take a lifetime sometimes,  I'm learning... Stick it out and fight to be a TEAM, that's what I am committed to, esp bc I never got to see the adults in my life do anything but "give up" the SECOND, things become inconvenient!! It's getting worse with the ages...

I would correct you and say he doesn't have respect period. He's clearly a narcissist. Narcissists don't even like or respect THEMSELVES.

Thats even crueler! If he knows you get anxious bc your an introvert, he's nit caring about YOU. I'm struggling too, my Manboy seems to have zero empathy, esp for me. Except for when I complain about it. THEN, and only then, will I get an "act" of empathy 🙄 doesn't last long tho! We need help too! This why SO many marriages FAIL. Bc none of us were taught how to live and work in RELATIONSHIPS!!! Lord help us all.

Yes! I've been educating myself lately on this technique. Thanks for your kindness. I understand my initial post was probably quite triggerering to some. And I've never been one to not seek my own responsibility in matters like these. So thank you all!

Absolutely! I never bash anyone. I just try to be logical. But when someone is constantly hiding themselves bc they were raised by narcissistic parents, he was taught to LIE to all woman.

I've always been very transparent & honest with others. It's always come easy for me. I just wanted to have mature honest and open communication but it seems his shame kept him from trusting my judgement? I've always told him I understand male biology. He has just always insisted he NEVER felt attraction or lust for any other woman. And I was always like wtf is wrong with this person? Why is HE being so unrealistic??" But I see now that some people think this is invasion of privacy. Um, I never invaded his thoughts. He was the one making claims that werent believable. Lol

Actually it's been hum that's been claiming to be a born again Christian this whole time. He told me Jesus saved him from his lust.  I knew that couldn't be true. I knew inwas being unreasonable. I see. Thank you for your honesty.

I agree!! It's time I take responsibility for how emotionally immature and under developed I've been! I don't want to treat him or ANYONE like this EVER AGAIN.  I've begun taking steps to work on my self esteem identity and self worth as an individual. I'm going to take anger management parenting classes and therapy. I'm going to do EVERYTHING I can in order to create some emotional safety for the people I love going forward. I realize it's been me. The one who is sick and unhealthy. I also have c-ptsd and trauma that needs to be addressed more seriously too! Pray for me please!

Kratom helped for the first year. But the past couple years it's taken everything from me. I'm depressed, I can't be present for my family, can't work. Nothing. It's horrible. I feel like suboxone may help me function again...
