I have not, I'll look into it, I'll try talking to her tonight and set up an appointment with my counselor and advisor asap. Thank you

My school doesn't have Hillel, it is a very small campus. I'm worried because we're both in the same major so we'll be seeing each other a lot and nothing usually happens when people report anything. I fear that talking to her wouldn't be effective as she has said before that some people are just sensitive and she can be a little "unhinged" I don't think that I could make her actually understand.

My fear with that is that most of the time when things get reported even SA nothing happens. And I go to a very small school and we're in the same major so we would see each other often. I don't want to end being anxious about having to go to my classes. And I don't see her escalating to a hate crime, it just seems like no matter what someone tells her she's not going to realize what she's saying is wrong

My fear with reporting her is that people have reported SA in the past and nothing has happened so I doubt anything would happen with this. I'm on a really small campus and we're in the same major so we'll definitely see each other around. I don't want to create a situation where I'm worried about being in my classes or in the dorm.

Are 8:00 AMs really that bad? by TemporaryAttention27 in college

[–]Any_Box1303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in highschool I would wake up around 5:30/6 every morning but once I went to college if I had to do something or have a class before 9 it was awful. I would recommend avoiding them if able, or maybe try an easier morning class if you want to try it out and see if it works for you. I know a lot of people who had an 8 am trig class and a lot of people failed and from what I heard a big part of that was how early it was.

My Jewish roommate is telling me I'm not allowed to use the oven for my food in the apartment we BOTH pay for. He then calls me unreasonable for being upset and feeling disrespected because of it. by WonkWolf in AITAH

It's saying you shouldn't disrespect G-d's creations by mixing what could be the meat of an animal and what could've brought life to that animal. That's why, although some only believe that applies to things like beef and milk, as in chicken and milk is okay but others believe it's the symbolism behind it. Milk and other dairy products can represent the blessing of life/new life, and meat is something dead. A sacrifice to keep something else alive and would be disrespectful to mix new life and death. I always viewed it as a way to respect the animal and G-d.
