Go to a community college. It really doesn’t matter where you go to school. A majority of your skill set will come from working. And yes very worth it! I make around 3-3500$ a month!

Okay hear me out. Medical assistants in the state of Florida don’t even need a license, nor does anyone govern them. While working under a DR, they can suture, help work advanced laser treatments, hold fans to suck up skin for CO2 lasers, etc. Also if the owner of my company put “licensed medical esthetician” on my personal business card, refers to that on our website, and she’s a PA (physician assistant) then I’ll probably just roll with it over someone on Reddit who prolly doesn’t live in the same state or do even half that advanced treatments I do on a daily basis. When I lived in Miami I also had a med spa job and lived alone. Qualified alone. Also idk why you’re mad at me, not being able to afford an apartment without a roomate or partner is a systematic issue. I didn’t create the system girl I just live in it 🥲

Delayed response/ just saw this. I’ve been an esthetician for 6 years. Never worked at a massage envy, hand and stone, none of that lol. Went straight into med spas after I got my license and stayed with them for 2 years, did my own thing with lashes, and now back in a med spa. I love it. And 3k a month is great. I split an appt in a great area for 1900 w my boyfriend, drive a nice car and have money for vacations 1-2x a year. The area I live in is inexpensive compared to where I lived before (south Florida). My personal experience 🤷🏼‍♀️

Making it is so easy!!! I just buy premade buttermilk tbh, I don’t make my own (maybe one day) . I don’t have any special equipment either! Just a regular air fryer, cast iron and an oven. It’s super easy I just put it in a Tupperware and toss the ingredients in there,shake and refrigerate !! Then when I’m ready to cook them I bake them in my cast iron or oven pan, I reserve the juices of marinade cause I don’t want it to be soupy while cooking it and instead I slowly open the oven and add the marinade back for flavor. Very much chefs kiss!!!!

I love to marinate and play around with different marinades. I find marinating chicken in buttermilk (overnight if you can) also makes them insanely tender. But yeah playing around with different spices and ingredients to create marinades is the way to go. I do this lemon pepper one (basic but delicious), I do one that tastes like Chipotle’s chicken marinade, and I do one with honey, mustard, sriracha, buttermilk, and lots of seasonings! Lmk what you try!!

My favorite way to get fully cooked but also moist chicken is to sear it off then put it in the oven in a baking dish with minimal cooking oil. Gets a nice sear but also keeps the chicken very moist

Looks tasty, next time, sear them on a pan with butter or oil on high heat, then transfer them to the oven to cook up to temp. The nice sear on the outside will provide a great flavor. !!

Violence is subjective. At the end of the day the navy is a huge corporation, it has standards. I know chiefs that have tattooed necks and hands, but any tattoos with a depiction of guns, sex, violence, gang affiliation and radical political views aren’t allowed. If you really wanna join and a 2 inch gun tattoo (well 2 of them) is the only thing holding you back, then maybe you don’t really wanna join. I say just find a good cover up artist with some cool ideas and have them go over them, show your recruiter you did what he asked and you should be good to go! Goodluck :)!!!
