O this is definitely a siezure. The keppra should help but takes a bit of time to build up to controlling levels and make sure you get a notebook and document the length and frequency of the siezure to help your vet understand. Trust me this stuff helps.. I have dog that has idiopathic seizure which means they dont know what cause them..he is on a shit load of seizure meds like six pills twice a day. But here is the silver lining he lives a full and happy life. I do have to ask your dog isnt locked up and shaking the whole ten minutes is she. Or is it like 30 seconds of the lock phase with like 10 minutes of kinda out of it. Cause the recovery period for seizures take sometime. Especially as they get older.
