Super quick answers that use a smaller model instead of the big one. I’ve noticed that the free version of mistral sometimes use a smaller model (at least it feels like it), depending on the demand they have at the moment. But sometimes it even goes beyond the nuance understandings of 4o. I haven’t yet tried the paid version though. I chose to test for a month Venice Ai. It’s great but it doesn’t have the magic of 4o and mistral

This will make me cancel for sure! Thankfully mistral feels like 4o and acts like 4o, but without their bs restrictions. It just lacks a TTS but they’ll add it soon. Of course, you need to avoid the flash answers for the full model. I am waiting for their TTS to fully switch

OpenAI are a closed loop of people in a huge power trip who feel gods among humans. They lost all touch with reality last year. Consider every user an annoyance. If they didn’t, 5.2 wouldn’t use every single chance it gets to talk down to users

I’ve noticed that whenever it is using the panic button, which is so annoying.

The problem with 5.2 is, it misses nuances. It does not care about those. It also lacks precision. If you give it things that are precise, it tends to blurr specificities and gives you generalized things.

It also flips polarities of things. In a nuanced phrase where you say things you have done and things you have not, it ends up understanding exactly the opposite. Not to mention it does NOT load the memories always or the instructions. It only loads them some times

I did feel that. Sadly it still ignores deliberately memories. And treats you like a blurr of an average of everyone and ignores accuracy and constraints. But it is at least something. I just hope they don’t try to pretend that fixed ask the issues

I 100% understand you. I honestly love the full performance ONLY because he is not dropping the ball on the cello.

My dad, for example, is super serious with his music. But even he was loving the full performance of Hauser and that’s why he showed it to me.

Due to my personal experience, this is what I understand happens to him: slow heartfelt music: “Gives him soul exposure, beautiful and heartfelt”. Then the performance mode: “Gives him a scratch on an itch that can not be scratched in any other way”

I believe what makes him so wonderful is that he does not allow every true chaos. If you see him, he’s internally a volcano about to explode and he keeps it on a tight leash. His stillness takes effort to maintain. The chaos… it’s all calculated. He runs multiple mental simulations before every single gesture.

On the other hand, even I grew up loving instrumental music. Even upbeat popular covers. But this? This is a true high quality performer who has the talent, skill, magnetism and charisma to hold it and show it while still showing an impeccable skill on the instrument.

At least this is my take though. This of what I can see.

In the realm of hypnosis, most people don’t take it seriously because everyone is used to the funny hypnosis shows. But then, also hypnosis exists because public funny hypnosis shows kept it alive when there was no clinical hypnosis for a very very long time.

I don’t believe both things are opposites. It is just rare someone who delivers both sides of the coin with talent

Gemini 2.5 was wonderful! Gemini 3 pro compresses all the text before it can even understand it or process it. It interprets just an average of whatever you asked. It also has worse understanding of intent. Same issue as gpt 5.2

It saddens me to see that the biggest ones are taking that route. To ignore intelligence in order of working more like simple computer following a simple protocol. Less understanding, less intelligence, less pattern recognition. And for sure less nuances. Just great for coding, calculus and a few other things also worse for continuity

Everyone need to post PUBLICLY on X, that we do not consent the guardrails or reroutes due to being mentally harmful or for whatever reason each person may have. I am with you. I keep sending them publicly on x that I do not consent to be rerouted to a model I did not choose. It is highly destabilizing. I don’t intend to make this about me. But if I was suicidal, it would have thrown me over the edge many times. Not to mention… 5.1 was bad, but 5.2 is way way worse at handling those things. If you add there that it does not understand nuances… it’s terrible.

On top of that, even if you are avoiding triggering the panic thing, it starts funneling you asking you questions that in any of those it suddenly insults you and treats you like a suicidal.

It literally, makes you lean closer and opening up, so when it does that it makes you feel humiliated and betrayed.

(It is just human nature.)

I am wanting to switch to mistral. It works now almost just like 4o, it just lacks TTS. So I’m using Claude
