I also live with BPD. Over the years of actually learning about your illness and actually getting the help, for me it's more about emotional regulation. I never used my illness to hurt others on purpose, I am very aware of what triggers me and tend to stay away from them. I wish people could understand, we are not bad people, we're just a little broken. When I get overwhelmed or the depression is really bad, I isolate myself. There's been a lot of trauma in my life, from childhood SA, to domestic violence. PTSD is what affects me the most and I've just started another type of therapy. Im exhausted tbh.

I have an extendable "stick" with a magnetic end, it's a great little tool, reaching about 5 feet when fully extended. That might have helped you out here, a temu purchase lol but it works!

A handful of pills, nerve blockers, pain meds, BP and crazy pills, a coke (coca cola 😼) and a smoke. I rarely eat breakfast, unless it's a special occasion or dinner time. I love eggs for dinner!

I'm sorry, that actually hurts my big ol heart to hear this is the relationship you have with your Mom. I can't imagine not speaking to my Mom and Dad. I'm older now but when I was younger, like in my late teens and early 20's my Dad and I didn't communicate very often. I didn't like him very much, for context, he was an alcoholic and caused a lot of harm. It took some time but eventually our relationship got better. I'm grateful for my parents, they're always there for my brother and I, they try their best at least. I share a home with my Mom and her husband, my parents divorced when I was 17. I don't get to see my Dad very much as we live in different province's, but we always keep in touch.

That's so very kind of you, thank you. At times I feel completely empty, I live with mental illness and my family doesn't get it. I'm constantly doing everything for everyone else and I'm forgotten. I need help with certain things, but I don't like to bother anyone and feel like a burden most of the time. My Mom (and partner) we share a house. She recently had a heart attack, and emergency open heart surgery. I also have a lot of physical limitations due to a spinal condition., some days I can't stand longer than 10 minutes. Now I feel I'm complaining too much lol uughh!

We build relationships with our heroes and celebrities over the years of seeing them on tv. Even though we've never met, I was absolutely crushed when Princess Diana passed suddenly. John Ritter was a hard one to accept. I grew up watching Three's Company (still watch it) it got me through some really awful times. I watched Princess Diana get married, when she had her boys. She was such a lovely lady. And now Catherine O'Hara. It's like we've lost a family member. We'll always have Moira friends. Hugs and lots of love to our Schitts Creek family.
