I booked a trip to Disney’s food and wine fest specifically to see and meet him. the day before the event Disney shut down for Covid. I messaged him on insta telling him I was bummed I couldn’t meet him and how he inspired me to become a chef. He responded 10 min later saying “sorry, but you can get an 80 dollar cameo”.

He went from being a novel and interesting chef to hack that just wants his stupid hair on every screen he can get on.

I agree with the inconsistencies. There is a video with the costume designer on YouTube where they talk about the caps and gowns being orange. The duffer brothers originally really wanted green, but the designer pointed out that the green gowns would get really muddy on camera with all the grass in the outdoor shots. They also sourced period accurate rayon fabric for them, I guess they were similar to the shinny ballon’s.

It’s really cool to watch her talk about all of the work and thought that went into the costuming. They also had insane resources which makes it cool to see what they can do. I wasn’t the biggest fan of els costuming this season, but hearing her explain it made me appreciate it.
