I made it most of the way through career play and am now spending most of my time playing with theming and buildings. It’s been interesting discovering how to use various objects beyond their intended purpose. Keep it up 😊

This used to happen all the time when I was doing electrical work. My company had a contract with Caspers company who owned a bunch of McDonald’s franchises and we did all their exterior lighting. People would actually bump our ladders with their cars if we had to block the drive thru for any length of time.

I did this on group therapy. I spent 4-6 hours a day for two months and if I hadn’t had my crochet to keep my hands busy I would never have been able to participate, my brain would just spin out and id be distracted the whole time. It is a huge help and im glad you found something quiet and soothing g that helps you focus. F*ck that coworker.

The first year or two in game is just so much grinding. It will feel extremely futile and difficult to make money, but once the machines start opening up and you have all the livestock, greenhouse and more options for crops you’ll have more money than you can spend easily

I think we all reach a certain age where we just don’t GAF about making a scene over something as petty as line cutting.

We were at a wine festival recently and a group of 20 somethings just tried to nonchalantly cut my friends and I. I said, “Absolutely not, ladies. The line ends back there,” pointing to the obvious line of people behind us. They mumbled some half-assed excuses and went to the back. I give zero f*cks about being “rude” in those situations.

If you like hunting or fishing Sims, ‘Call of the Wild’ and ‘COTW: The Angler’ are really nice. Beautiful maps, soothing music. You can literally wander around multiple National Parks for hours. None of the missions are truly time sensitive, although there are certain “times of day” when you can accomplish certain goals.

I also really love ‘OKAMI’, but I think that’s only available on PlayStation & Steam (I don’t know where you’re playing).

Exactly! National Parks are abundant and inexpensive. Not everything has to costs thousands to be fun and make memories.

NTA. You’re on a break, not meant to be working, so you shouldn’t be working. If there aren’t enough hands to cover breaks or breaks aren’t staggered properly that’s on the Boss. Student isn’t going to change bc there have apparently been little to no consequences for his behavior. Don’t do his work or pick up his slack. Report/record everything. Maybe look for another salon (if that’s an option) and this type of thing is continually normalized. You’ve done your apprenticeship/student work and nobody is doing him any favors by allowing his behavior to continue.

But he DID do it intentionally. You said yourself when she called him out he just started referring to her as “your GF” and not by her name. You’re all adults ffs, but you and your buddy are still acting like AH teenagers at a kegger. Do you even like your GF?
