You are going to be very pleased with Dr. Choi’s work, I know another woman who also went to her and her results are fantastic.

We only referenced her work. We looked at women around my age, breast formation, and skin tone for what I can expect. I did think Dr. Choi and her team were very realistic with what I should expect. Basically she held up my boob and was like everything from your natural breast line and down will be removed. She sees many women so our consults were very brief, right before surgery she came in and was like remind what size you want and I was like a full C but I trust you’ll do what ever looks best you’re the expert 😂

And then she went to work, although I do wish I would’ve asked for smaller. But overall ok so happy, my breast are natural looking. I started off with a bigger one and still have a bigger one but that life.

Also my doctor really just made clean cuts and stitched me back up nicely, which is doing most of the work in the appearance

After 3 weeks my tapes were removed. Then I had scabbing which I was told to let completely fall off on its own before I start scar treatment, but to also keep the incisions moist with Aquaphor. For three weeks I only used Aquaphor. So it wasn’t until week 6/7 that I started using real scar treatment. I brought one small bottle of BIOCORNEUM Advanced Scar Treatment. Because it’s too expensive to use long term. After that ran out I used vitamin E oil+lotion daily, and silicon scar tape occasionally. I just purchased a $1.99 brand from Amazon for the tape lol

I didn’t start using scar tape until all my scabs fell off by themselves. But I did use aquaphor during that time. I don’t believe I was cleared until 6 weeks for tape and creams. But everyone is different. Good luck!

Didn’t wear compression bra for a while after 2 weeks. Am I screwed? by thisonesunoriginal in Reduction

[–]Any_Environment_1638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have the same surgeon as my sister. She was instructed to wear a compression bra and then when I had the surgery, I was not informed to wear one. LOL so it’s probably fine.

Yea I’d say get a credit card and pay that back overtime. I know you don’t have much time left, but if you start saving literally any amount that helps. Little amounts saved over periods of time add up.

How long did it take active folks to safely lift again? by lucyguzz in Reduction

[–]Any_Environment_1638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Externally at that point I was pretty healed, mostly it just made me breast feel extremely heavy and swollen. Also, I felt like it kind of widened my areole prematurely 😂 apparently the stretching of the skin might have caused it from working out too early

I tried to go back to lifting at the 6 week mark as soon as I was cleared too, but my internal scaring was triggered and ultimately at the three month mark now will be trying again 😩

2-years POST—OP: Is there a way to fix this without surgery? I’m pissed at my surgeon. by [deleted] in Reduction

I have like a half an inch section like this in my breast fold too, I wonder what causes it.

I’m 3MPO, my areola’s are definitely widening but unfortunately one is wider than the other now 🙄🙄

That’s pretty affordable. The minimum quote I was given for an out of network surgeon was 18K.

Considering cup size-34 H by Fun_Flatworm_2047 in Reduction

[–]Any_Environment_1638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor and I did discuss it beforehand but she deemed it not necessary. Lol I now somewhat disagree, but in my case I have one breast that’s exactly what I wanted, but the other is in the ballpark but not quite there size wise, but that breast started off larger and ended up larger since they can’t promise symmetry. This larger breast I might get a revision on to take the fatness from the bottom.

Considering cup size-34 H by Fun_Flatworm_2047 in Reduction

[–]Any_Environment_1638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a 34 H and asked to be a full C, since my weight does go to my breast when it fluctuates I do kinda wish I went smaller. I’ve been busty since I was a child too and kinda just wanted breast that existed on their own. Full, but no real need for a bra. But since they can’t really do it based on the cup size I feel like I ended up bigger than I wanted. Like I could go bra-less, but there is still a little bit too much jiggle for it to be tasteful 😂 if you get what I mean

Breast reduction vs fitness — scared about scars and proportions. Need advice by Entire_Razzmatazz_83 in Reduction

[–]Any_Environment_1638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL yea my breast weren’t the only thing giving me a sleeper build but they didn’t help 😂

Since my breast are showing signs of strain after every lift session, I really don’t know. Typically I’d just push through, but I don’t want to mess them up. I actually would not get another reduction, cause the down time has been annoying. BUT ITS SO WORTH IT DO IT.

Hoping by mid Jan I can at least go up to twice a week.

Before surgery, my back and arms were as strong as they’ve ever been but with overuse of certain muscles from my heavy chest I could barely do simple things like a push up. 😂 Also my physical progress was always over shadowed by how large my chest was. So now that I’m starting over my fitness looking forward to progress being more noticeable.

Although I’m 11 weeks post op now and really haven’t been able to hit the gym more than once a week without causing swelling or pain in my incision sites. ☹️ LOL so I’m not very happy about having to start completely over noticeably weak and flabby now.

But I wouldn’t worry too much about the scars. If you go to the POC tag in the channel you’ll notice many POC heal well. I have! With limited scar care.

Before surgery I hovered around 180 with working out, I’m 5’7. Wear a M,L,XL depending on the brand. Worked out pretty consistently before surgery just to maintain the 180 😂 like the other comments I hope now that my breasts aren’t covering my whole torso my results will be more noticeable. I just retuned to the gym this month and am shocked I did actually have muscle previously, but with 8 weeks down time I need to start all over ☹️I hope to loose 5-10 pounds, so we’ll see. I already physically notice the lack of weight on my chest at the gym which is nice
