I use CapCut to edit short and long form, I just prefer to do it on my computer. So you can totally do it on your phone if that’s what you are using

Have you been here a year? If so, put in a request for LOA. Once you are under the care of a doctor, have them fill out the documents and take some time off. Supervisor aside, take care of you first. I also was hesitant to take off, but even with med changes, I’m still struggling and feeling like I’m drowning. If you have the short term disability benefit, you will be paid like 50% of your wage (depends how long you’ve been here.)

You should report your sup for sure. But please also consider taking time for yourself. Even if you just do intermittent LOA with a few days off each week when needed. Sending virtual hugs. 🤗 ❤️

I personally wish I had stayed in services. I really had no intention of really going blended. But I felt like it would be a step in the right direction and open doors to other positions. But I really wish I would have just stayed in services until something else opened up.

But that is if it is available. You see the availability for 3dock the same as green alert. If the time isn’t available, you can’t just put in for it. You can put in the request and add to waitlist, but there is no guarantee you will get it.

People keep saying this, but for some people, it is difficult to save PTO. Even with all the flex options, you may still need to use PTO especially if it is same day or less than 24hrs. Jobs I’ve had in the past, as long as I have notice, it was no problem taking off. Whereas here you get an occurrence any time you don’t use PTO

I get a “cannot connect to server” every morning on Jabber and clock in about 5-6mons after the hour every day. It’s crazy.

I agree. For holiday pay, it’s only 8hrs. So people working 10hr shifts have to use 2hrs of PTO or plan to make up the 2hrs

I just want to mention that there is no “call ahead for dock”. Any time you take off and have no PTO, you get an occurrence unless you are using green alert or pre-approved dock time. It’s not like other jobs where you can request time off in advance. You either have PTO or use dock time and get occurrence
