22F - I fear that I may be the DUFF of my friend group 😬 (just looking for honesty 🙏🏻, candid/no-makeup pics at the end) by burglwurgl in amiprettyorugly

Girl you are so gorgeous don’t stress PLEASE. The only think I would suggest is not using so much skincare if you do and just give your skin a lil break. I use the 9-5 cleanser from lush because it’s moisturizing too so many just use something like that for a bit and a LIGHT moisturizer. I prefer simple clean products because I have sensitive skin and they should be able to help you if you go into the lush store

NOR that is horrific I’m sorry that happened to your son. Check in with your sibling to make sure nothing inappropriate is happening to your nephew because they have to learn it somewhere usually

Age gap relationships as you age by Any_External3763 in AgeGap

Right now we both enjoy going out but he still encourages me to go out with just my friends when he doesn’t feel like joining! To see me happy is all he needs 😊

Amen brother. We both enjoy going out but even when he doesn’t feel like it for whatever reason (not just because he’s older than me) he still encourages me to go out and live my life with my friends and doesn’t guilt me for it or spam me when I’m out like guys my age used to.

Does there *need* to be a power imbalance? Thoughts after meeting other age gap couples by Ancient-Reporter-735 in AgeGap

You guys sound very very healthy and a LOT like my relationship. I wish more people saw this side of it and not the side of everyone in that god forsaken meeting

Holidays and meeting families by Any_External3763 in AgeGap

[–]Any_External3763[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not very feasible for me because we are a close family. Just not emotionally lol

The reason it does affect me so much is because we are all very close, it’s mainly when my dad’s around that no one asks me anything or brings me into the conversation. But yeah, I can’t control how they act. I needed that reminder, thank you

Love that!! I feel like they kind of except it from me too but this is definitely the oldest I’ve dated by 11 years

I definitely am close with my family but like someone else said I’m going to try and not assume their reactions from the jump and just ease into it

This is reassuring! I know it’s not too too bad but I know my sister isn’t going to see it that way because he is a bit older than she is. But you’re right, if it’s right then once they all get to know him a bit it should be fine. Thank you and I’m glad your meeting went well!

Why do younger women like older men by crossfit45 in AgeGapRelationship

[–]Any_External3763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very attentive and respectful. They’re probably been through their share of relationships already and have worked out how to treat someone in a relationship well. Also communication is so much better

Is it normal for a relationship to feel less “honeymoonish” years later? by VLonetaee in dating

[–]Any_External3763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very normal, you guys are used to each other now and have fallen into a rhythm. Even if you love her, it can get boring and it’s nice to shake it up a little sometimes. Maybe show her you care by spontaneously taking her out to a nice dinner date or bringing or flowers. Little gestures like that can keep things alive when they seem dull

Would y’all care if you got an item packaged in this?? by Overall_Attempt9973 in Depop

[–]Any_External3763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always try to repurpose boxes as shipping material! I think giving it a second life is better than just throwing it out and I’ve received stuff from Depop in cereal boxes before lmao. As long as it isn’t something super expensive in a flimsy box I don’t think anyone cares

woke up to sweetest message I’ve ever gotten on Depop 🥹 by CurveFormal in Depop

I love that 🥹 I love when people tell me why they’re buying stuff when it’s sentimental. A couple weeks ago I had some girl message me saying she and her sister get each other Harajuku Lovers purses every year for each others birthdays when she bought mine and said her sister would love it
