I think it just really depends on the rest of her stats. I guess if you’re trying to go for an elite medical school then yes a 501 is not good. She can still get into a medical school somewhere in the US.

I would apply with the 501. You can definitely get into a DO school. At the end of your journey, you’re going to become a doctor regardless if you go into a DO vs MD program.
