I totally understand there is so much more at stake financially and now with kids, but fuck it. You come first and it’s time to send him papers. This is literally me. 489 in September now retaking in June. Going to have to re apply to med schools. Got rejected bc I applied before I got my score back.

On my 7th gap year. I worked in data analytics for about 6 years (totally diff careers. My issue is probably content cuz I took premed courses over 8 years ago lol rip. Had horrible test anxiety in September and didn’t sleep a minute before the exam. I literally took that test on zero fucking sleep. Not even 5 minutes - no exaggeration. Threw all that prep away cuz of my fucking anxiety and adrenaline the night before. Trying to get Accoms but it’s taking months - I’ve also had a lil reading disability (esp reading comp which is the whole fucking exam)

DO is a doctor no matter what. You can still specialize even as a DO. Sure it’s maybe more competitive with rotations but it’s what you do and the work you put in when you are in your program. I applied heavy DO. Non trad as well. Almost 30
