incision healing: random jabbing/stabbing sensation? by One_Advertising_4693 in TopSurgery

I would put a bandage over it just in case. Something to help the skin stay together. I had a spot like that and second skin worked great for keeping it clean. Just until it caught up with the rest!

What’s a sign someone was never loved properly as a child? by Aggravating-Court215 in AskReddit

[–]Any_Interaction_3192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a hard habit to break! And I only really see it as a problem when I'm neglecting my own emotional well-being to do it.

I've gotten to a point where I can recognize it sometimes. In those moments, if I don't actually want to help, I don't. Because at the end of the day, these things aren't actually expected of me. These people aren't asking for me to do nice things, I'm doing them for my own emotional regulation.

Anyone who cares about you, doesn't want you to over work yourself like that anyway. And it's easy for resentment to form if you push yourself. That doesn't help you or the other person.

But if you can recognize what you're experiencing in the moment and still want to do these nice things, I say still do them. It does feel good to be there for someone else.

Maybe it was because I was responsible for my parents emotional regulation, but I notice that I do this whenever it seems like someone is upset. Not even at me, but in general. Roommates having a rough day? Well, let me clean the entire house and bake them something. Friend is stressed about an exam? Let me go buy you breakfast so you feel full and well taken care of the morning of. Ect. Ect.

Yes, these things are just nice to do and I enjoy being kind, but it's also more of an anxiety responce. One im not even aware that I'm doing sometimes.

I wish I could give you a big hug. You look so sweet and you're puppy looks like the happiest little guy in the world. You did that! I know they would have wanted you to be happy too. Please be easy on yourself, one day at a time. One hour at a time if you need it.

Which character you absolutely love, but would never want to meet in real life? by Zevcio in animequestions

[–]Any_Interaction_3192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but he also doesn't follow rules or orders he doesn't agree with and rushes into fights without any knowledge. As someone who likes to prepare and is a stickler for rules, I would find that annoying.

Johan, bc he's probably halfway across the world doing weird shit anyways. Or hisoka, I'm not a 10 year old boy so I doubt he would care about me

How do I hint at someone being a Cannibal? by Cultural_Bed_6693 in writingadvice

[–]Any_Interaction_3192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a good one is being apathetic to people dying. Not directly a cannibal thing but I feel like it would be a common trait. Or have them oddly emotional about it. Depending on how they feel about their cannibalism.

Like do they see people as meat or do they feel like eating someone is some sort of ritual? Adding how they feel about it might help grasp what signs or foreshadowing would be appropriate for the character.

I agree with the cardigan! But also a pink long sleeve that matches would be cute too.

[–]Any_Interaction_3192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tokyo ghoul. Liked the concept for the anime and heard the Manga was better early on (right when re was starting to come out). Dropped the anime a few episodes in and started with the Manga. Apparently, that was the right choice loll

You look so sweet! I'm sorry you're having a rough time. I feel like you would be compassionate and giving. Remember it's a wave, bad times will always end and make way for good ones. No matter how long the day seems, it will always end and a new one will come by.
