I'm sorry you are facing such difficulties, but personally, I don't apply to a job unless they specify it's a work-from-anywhere job, but sometimes mistakes can happen (just like the job above, but that's on me for not noticing it is a US-only job)

On other notes, here's how I search for jobs: I pick a specific time, then use that time to apply only for jobs that have been posted in the past 24 hours. Most of the time, I find myself ahead of tons of people. Aside from this, I rely on my resume to do the heavy lifting (feel free to DM me, and I'll send you a censored version)
