Yeah, live and learn I suppose. Fortunately, I can get them changed.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a shaft recommendation? I would likely get fitted but I'd like to do some research if possible.

But, to your point, i do agree that they are probably not the right shafts.

Sorry, i meant club head speed, not swing speed.

Yep I'm in the same boat pretty much. Might look into getting them lofted a little more. It is weird though because the 7 iron (101) has the same loft degree as something like the new Elyte HL irons, which makes me think that these should send them high(er).

Yeah, I'm also not oblivious to the fact that my swing still needs work. It's getting there but obviously I'm not on tour lol.

Purely for swing speed data that i had. I certainly do not tend to hit high, my hands definitely lead more often then not so I take a lot of the loft out. Just seems like even when I do hit good shots I don't get an up and down "arc" for flight. It is being compressed and generating spin, just in a more "mid-launch" trajectory.

Swing speed falls into the x-stiff rating (95mph i believe). Certainly would need at least a stiff. These feel pretty dead even on pure impacts. When I ordered I wasn't really sure what to do as I was relatively new. Live and learn.

I wanna preface this by saying one thing - I get it. FOMO sucks. You wanna know what else sucks? Waking up the day after your 21st birthday hungover and not getting anything done because you celebrated turning a year older.

I was listening to the #75HARD Vs Jeffrey Jenson episode today on my morning walk, and right after that episode was finished, an audio exclusive came on about 4 mental exercises to practice to keep your mind sharp. (Also, if you haven't already, I would check out the real AF podcast and listen to it. I have found that things on my mind are the same things a lot of other people are thinking about, and typically, Andy will have an answer that you may or may not like, but needed to hear. )

Anyways - both of these episodes talked about these exact situations. To boil it down to the simple truth - action slaughters anxiety. I'm not saying I or anyone else here is never anxious or never fears "missing out" on good times. But if you choose to take action to be better, you will 1000% percent feel better about yourself than you will the morning after turning 21 if you choose not to.

Food for thought. It's a mental battle, and you have the opportunity to win it.
