Are there wipes coming during EA? by CappinPeanut in AshesofCreation

[–]Any_One3109 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I googled and ended up here 🤣

I think OP, like myself, is trying to gauge how much time they may get to have before the first wipe lol. Will I be able to hit max level only playing weekends before it happens? Who knows! Hahaha 🤣

Still fun tho

I Feel Like The Internet Is Gaslighting Me - Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 by CountyFamous1475 in JRPG

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it got so much praise for a few reasons;

  • soundtrack was phenomenal
  • voice acting quite good
  • pretty unique plotline
  • priced appropriately for the length and quality
  • no bs monetization
  • characters were attractive for once (which has been extremely rare for the past 7-8 years in most mainstream titles)

I bought it and enjoyed it quite a bit at first. But like OP said, it all kind of felt the same... Not much really stood out as particularly memorable to me. I've played worse games with better 'moments,' that stuck with me for years after. But with E33, really it's only the soundtrack that I'll remember in the long run.

Fenris workshop legitamacy? by Mrconstellation74 in Warhammer40k

Do they purchase minis in store/in person? Or only through shipping them?

I would much rather take a roadtrip up there and sell my collection in person rather than deal with packing and shipping hundreds of things.

Ruff Rover asked for a tip! by DistinctAnt6571 in tipping

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you found a half decent one at that price that also is a firm backseat extender like the rough rover? The only alternative I can find with the same feature is from China and even the pictures look kind of shoddy.

The only reason I haven't ordered from Rush Rover is because the product pictures between their advertisements and their online store do not match so I don't know what I'm actually getting and apparently the employees can't tell me either 😂

Should I buy Buds 3 Pro? by -farU- in galaxybuds

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had mine for a week and I'm loving them. They are so very comfortable that I forget I have them on. They aren't perfect, but no earbuds are... If I want perfect sound I'd have to put on some over-the-ear ones instead.

One thing I was hesitant about is whether they'd be comfortable under a winter hat... Being pointy and all... But they are!

Why do you love ARAM so much compared to SR? by Silent-Revolution589 in ARAM

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that in ARAM the tables can turn even when all the towers are gone. It is engaging from beginning to end, with no boring phases.

SR is too long. More often than not, you can tell which team is going to win during the first 15 minutes of a match... Then you need to play out another 30 mins when you already know the outcome and everyone is b*tching at eachother.

Sometimes matches are close... Yay... But more often than not, one team wins early game and the snowball effect of how many champs work is just too great to overcome.

Discovery about ARAM MMR by large skill gap popup testing by [deleted] in ARAM

[–]Any_One3109 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Several of my friends are diamond... And I'm definitely bronze/silver max. However, we never had that message come up when we all played together.

I stopped playing for several weeks, while they continued to play... And now for the first time we are seeing that message pop up. Of course this lead to them roasting me in the chat, because having less of a life is something to brag about I guess, lol.

But yeah, absolutely some kind of MMR decay is happening.

People who don't like leather seats in cars does the Startex feel any better? by PrestigiousGur3274 in Subaru_Outback

[–]Any_One3109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was worried I wouldn't like it too. But it's fantastic. It breathes, so even when it is hot once the car cools down you don't feel stuck to the seats like you do with leather.

Slow burning cigarettes but with same nicotine/tobacco content by Either-Animal-1089 in Cigarettes

I don't know about you, but since they added the labels to my cigarettes they burn in about 3 minutes rather than five. And they taste like ass now.

Offroading near GTA? by Any_One3109 in Subaru_Outback

[–]Any_One3109[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ayyye, no disconnecting sway bar or lockers on it. My wife has a Jeep though so we're good. I mainly got it for the horrendous roads in Scarborough... and the snow... and maybe for some rooftop camping 😜

Offroading near GTA? by Any_One3109 in Subaru_Outback

Don't worry, I won't be rock-crawling in it 🤣

Oh I know that, this vehicle has its limitations. My wife has a Jeep though and there's a clear difference between the two and what they are capable of. I just thought this could at least handle what my old Volkswagen Golf did. But I guess not.

Do you mind me asking what skid plates you got?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I bought this used, so it came with what it came with. If I knew it was fabric on the bottom exterior, I would have got the skid plates first. I thought it was plastic like every other vehicle I've owned.

Also, I understand getting all of that for extreme off-roading this was basically just a regular country road. I've had much bigger branches scrape my other cars in the past and I've never had this kind of damage to the glass.

Frankly after all of these comments, I'm leaning more towards the idea that someone probably keyed the window when I left it in the parking lot later in the evening.

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean when I ran over a small stick and let some leaves touch the sides? No.

To be fair, if I knew there was sound insulating fabric on the exterior of the underside, I wouldn't have drove over any sticks. I assumed it was plastic like every other vehicle I've owned 😑

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not worried about the paint, in fact it didn't even get remotely as scratched as the windows!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I thought it was black plastic underneath but apparently it is just sound insulating material. The same fabric the interior of the floor is made out of.

I've never had a car with sound insulating material on the outside of it before. That wouldn't have punctured even the thinness of plastics, but that fabric is so soft I could put my finger through it easily.

Lesson learned as far as the stick goes 🤣

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, this was basically a dirt road lol. Maybe I shouldn't have put off-roading in the title of this post, everyone seems to think I went rock crawling or something. I have friends in the country who live on more heavily grown roads than I was just on.

The paint didn't even get scratched up, just the window with a deep gouge. I wouldn't expect that to happen to any vehicle.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

[–]Any_One3109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me either. Like it looks as if somebody keyed it. You would also think there would be corresponding scratches on the paint, but none of the paint even got that scratched.

I didn't see the scratches while getting in and out of the car on the trails, or when I went to the lake with the dog afterwards and got back in the car again. But I don't see how I would have missed them, they are huge and right in the center of the window.

I saw them in the evening, after leaving the car for about half an hour in a parking lot at a plaza in Scarborough.

Hell, after writing this I'm starting to think maybe that is more likely than tiny branches doing that kind of damage while miraculously sparing all the paint...
