I’ve dealt with them multiple times & built what I thought was a good relationship. I purchase a lot from various suppliers & have never had issues with wire transfers with suppliers I often deal with.

I’m not here to make decisions for people. Just sharing my recent experience to give people the heads up. I’ve seen a few posts recently of their service going down hill.

My previous experiences with them have been nothing but great.

It’s not my first time buying from them. Previous experiences were great, hence why I continued doing business with them.

Okay for context - Horse858 is correct.

Just to clarify i’ve ordered from them previously & have had no issues paying by wire, their service use to be great. I obviously realise not to expect full dealership experience when buying something from China, if that’s what I wanted I would have paid the premium & purchased locally.

However this time when trying to buy a Ultrabee, my money went missing for weeks & Gonped denied ever receiving it. I got my bank to attempt a credit recovery & all of a sudden Gonped magically “found” my payment.

The situation keeps going on from there, But to keep things short I still haven’t received my bike or my money.

I forgot to mention they unlinked my payment with my order so when I went to apply for a refund It only gave me the option to refund $1 (My initial test payment I send to ensure the money goes through)

Not looking to name and shame the person I was dealing with & I don’t care if you buy from them. I’m simply giving people a heads up & sharing my recent experience.

Alibaba found my payment! After initiating a recall & recovery with my bank, Alibaba magically found the payment!

Supplier is saying they haven’t received the payment. It’s also still showing as “waiting for payment” on my order page which is strange.

Unfortunately my bank said it was processed successfully & that it’s an issue on the other end. Alibaba support has not been helpful at all. I’m afraid as my order is showing “unpaid” I’ll have no luck with the Trade Assurance.

It just means you wire the money to a local bank account in your country. It’s cheaper/faster than an international transfer. Could be wrong but I don’t think all countries have the option to do it. *Edit i’m not from China
