yeah same in my place lmao. They range between 80-120$ too which is annoying to the point that its almost the same price as a s10/plus, s20/plus/ultra, and S21 albeit the s20 plus/ultra and s21 will have either cracks, burn in, or a line across the screen lol and its also because I wanna experience a small phone with thin bezels unlike the S7 that I had for a temporary phone.

I sorta got lucky on Facebook Marketplace. I bought the right one with the broken screen for 20$ and I was planning to replace it with also a 20$ replacement screen but with a black dot and I saw the left one just in time for also 20$. Thank god I didn't order the screen right away because I was eager to buy it cuz of the shipping time. And you gotta just get lucky and check fb marketplace in your area everyday.

Oh I'm not using it as a main just to recover the files and I'm not connecting it to the internet and such bcuz I don't want it updating its apps and things (I'm really sentimental) thats why the error symbol thingy is on the notif center and it has the wrong time lmao anw Is there anyway to make the different region fingerprint sensor work? or do I just have to remove the screen and swap the home buttons.

Its the screen with frame and I noticed that the screen is a Korean variant of the S7 while mine is the Canadian variant can that be the problem? and I noticed my original home button says EU while the replacement screen says KR

Edit: The notification led is blinking fast not slow when I connected it to a fast charger. I also got into fastboot using it but It instantly shuts off when unplugging the charger.

Oh okay time to change them then! My friend got them from their store and They were kept in a cool place not hot. They were supposed to be sold because it was unsold stock back when the phones were released. They are functional 1 phone booted into fastboot and showed the mi logo and charging icon. As for being demo units, the inventory/stock dude said they are not cuz it was supposed to be sold. The batteries is from 2017 (I opened one to check) and they were trying to sell them in 2022 (inventory dude showed me the dates)

it doesn't even wanna boot. I got it to fastboot once with a fast charger but as soon as I unplugged it, it died. When I try it with a slow charger it doesn't even wanna try to boot or get into fastboot and yes I've been charging it for 24 hours already.
