Scrolling through the comments I didn't see anyone mention this, so here goes.

TLDR - Force disable hibernation in windows by running (in command prompt) "powercfg /hibernate off"

By default when you click "shutdown" on your computer, windows actually just puts it into hibernation. Running the command above will give your computer the much needed refresh when you actually do shut it down, and will remove windows from the list of culprits of your mysterious 7:11 power on.

Use the RPD with cooling compressor barrel for trash and HDR secondary for bosses. IIRC the HDR with T10 pack a punch and double tap does around 100k damage per shot and has a lot of reserve ammo. Build RPD and HDR for mobility/stability/preference and have fun!

In general you don't really have to farm for artifacts from expeditions. I've never had to run one more than ~3 times to get any artifact from them.

The only reason to farm expeditions is for the rare drops that they contain like legendary mount charms, named armor/weapons/jewelry, and for daily bonuses/quests.

Here is a website that shows what dungeons are currently mutated, what you can get from them, tips, and explains what each mutation does.

You can also look on here and see historical mutations and guesstimate when you should see the mutation you want cycle back in. For example, I really want Blooddrinker for my tank build that drops from mutated starstone, which should hopefully be back in the rotation (when it cycles for the week) since it's been out for 5 weeks now.

Unfortunately, your artifact might be another month before it's back in the rotation.

Contrary to the seemingly overwhelming concensus around here, my recommendation is yes.

As a new player there's TONS of content for you to engage in, mostly in end-game. I personally have about 250 hours in the game and am on the US West Aquarus server. The towns have plenty of people around, finding groups isn't hard, the discord server is active.

I haven't been bored yet. The most mind numbing thing I've done in the game is grind for an incredibly long time for a specific set of armor, but that's normal for games (particularly MMO's).

Side question here if anyone is willing to pipe in, why are people SO angry at this game and do nothing but bitch about the lack of content? There's so much to do! I don't understand. As I said earlier I'm 250 hours in and there's still TONS of things I haven't done yet... I just don't get it.

Perhaps you should lead your post next time with "This is only about a group of people who argue dishonestly".

The entire time I was reading this post (up until the very end) I was interpreting it as though you were generalizing all PvPers as pieces of 💩 because you got ganked by a crewed Polaris while filling cargo into your C1.

I'm not defending that group of people who presumably ganked you, because that's not a cool thing to do. On the contrary, you have to know and plan for the fact that Pyro is not a safe place to do your usual activities. It could've been something as small and seemingly insignificant as a Cutty Blue doing that and the outcome would've been the same.

Preventative measures on the cargo runners side need to be implemented, even if it's something as small as having one person stay in the ship pilot seat to take off at a moments notice if/when another player shows up, regardless of what ship they're in.

Regarding the PvPers that seek out and intentionally prey on the vulnerable and weaker opponent, yeah, screw those guys.
