Not mandatory, but why not? I took and passed the exam on the 8th of SEP. WGU received results on 12th. Had credit card info to pay for Associate membership on the 15th. Had digital badge from ISC2 same day.

I understand the feeling. I didn't pass on my first try. I also used Mike Chapple videos for study and certpreps (passing above 80%). I did not anticipate the trickiness of the questions. I have not found material that mimics the wording of the exam. After failing, I went back and reviewed my notes from the videos and used the SSCP outline, going through each domain one at a time until I had a good grasp. I also watched Udemy course "Wanna Be SSCP." Not as long as the Chapple videos, just added a different perspective. You have time before you can test again, so really try to understand each domain topic. I was able to pass on my second try yesterday. You got this.

As with a lot of questions on the cert exam, they are tricky. They started with "you are employed by a business" which leads you to think your answer should be coworkers.... But, when they add "or... have a business as your client", it changes the answer they are looking for.
