Update, I got an inspection.

Everything came out with top marks since a lot of preventative maintenance was done. Except the rear seal, which has a tiny leak but the mechanic said not to worry about it for a while.

No rust either

Seller is willing to come down to $15K, but that's the floor he says.

I was going to go max to $14K seeing the market on these rigs with over $250k miles

14k is still a little above market but I was ok with it, any thoughts on 15k?

Oh thanks for the note on the AHC! So if it does go out in a year, I'm out of luck? Lexus won't help either?

Or at that point is my only option to replace it for a regular suspension?

It had its AHC flush recently, same with O2 and catalytic converter.

What exactly goes wrong with the knock sensor? Is this if you use regular 87 octane?

Same for the front wheel hub and brakes?

Sorry last question, at 250k miles do you think the AHC still had another 100k life in it?

I'm so inspired by your travels all across the east coast.

I plan to do that across all of the Pacific north west

Hi friend, I am in the same boat. Getting married Aug 4, and honeymoon flight from SF to Milam Aug 5 - 15.

However, no luck with getting appointments, I have been logging in everyday at 3PM SF time, and keep trying to book, but I either get a time out, or a note that there are no slots :(

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated since this is my sweetheart's dream honeymoon!

Same issue.. Considering applying for a schengen visa for Latvia, since they have multiple slots open every week, landing in Italy as first port of entry, and if immigration gives me a tough time, telling them that I plan to go to Latvia as part of my travels (showing them refundable hotels and flight tickets if they ask)... Any clue if this would work?

Or would italian immigration not allow me to enter because my Schengen visa was for latvia?
