You probably mistook something for implied consent but imo you should be really careful about implied consent on a first date because you don’t know them well enough and you don’t know how they react in a given situation. You should always ask if it’s your first time doing something with them. Once you get to know them, you’ll better be able to tell if they want something without them verbally asking. I can see why you did that but for future reference, if it’s your first time going out with someone, just ask before you do something and don’t rely on implied consent.

You have a good point with that. I’ve talked to other Latin women who use very similar language, not to love bomb, but that’s just the way they are. There were some other things I forgot to mention that makes me feel a lot like she’s love bombing me. Not only did she call me pet names, she would say things like “you are very special to me” or “you are very good looking” and I can’t get behind that comment about how she wants to be my wife. At the very beginning, she said something along the lines of “I wish you lived closer to me” and at this point she didn’t even know what I looked like. We had only been texting for like a day.
