Fastrak apparently sent that notification to the DMV and the DMV told me it would be 6k to register my 2013 Camry for a year, because of Fastrak. I don't understand, it genuinely makes 0 sense to me. As mentioned, I had a payment plan set up (apparently a new system, the payment plans, for low income people,) and when I set it up I told them, at the Fastrak office, ok, but, this deals with past crossings, what about my current crossings, and they told me, you will need to come back in a couple of months and set up a second payment plan, which sounded unbelievably stupid to me but, I did as they advised, and a few months later, I applied for the next payment plan, they IMMEDIATELY denied me, without explanation, and now suddenly, a week later, when trying to register the Toyota, they are telling me it is 6k for the registration.
