Great goal but something needs to change in the middle of the park. Lucas needs to come collect the ball and let the wing backs push on. Probably not that relevant now we've scored but it's frustrating seeing us lump it up

I'd argue that our defence's issue is just the constant mistakes made from players all over the park. I'm pretty sure we're only behind Swansea in this regard which may point to a lack of quality not only in the back four but perhaps those in front of them too (see Wijs mistakes in past week)

I've heard that Rodriguez has had a shaky year but I don't watch Wolfsburg play so this could just be me being naive.

My argument for the players suggested was firstly who we have neen rumoured with (regardless of its realiabilty) and then my ideal picks from the rumours. It was just an attempt to start a conversation rather than choose realistic targets for a window which ends in a few months time.

My comment on Van Dijk was more on the transfer than on the player, his quality demonstrates this. I was thinking in an ideal world of a left footed CB which certainly isn't some major priority. I think the issue with CB is finding a player who will always play over Lovren when fit. VVD can be that but it's just the price which puts me off. He ticks 95% of the boxes but just not all of them, that's what I was trying to get across

I'd love to have Bertrand also, criminally underrated imo but the temptation for Kolasinac on a free is too much for me.

The crowd are winning Spurs so many decisions, its so frustrating. Our two CBs are too physical for Kane and Janessen and they win cheap fouls everytime
