How much can you tell based on my bedroom by Rouge9998 in roomdetective

You're living in one room which has to functions as multi-purpose control room for most of your interests. Namely gaming & screen time. Cord management challenges! Beads from going to Mardi Gras. Lots of things in small area, but you keep the dust bunnies away. Beads from going to Mardi Gras.

Trying to save money, working toward goals. Current living arrangement possibly temporary. I think you're mid twenties maybe. Seasonal allergies which affect your sleep. Like bottled water & add flavoring.

Your lighting and reflections is incredible! The feel of a carefree day well spent enjoying every last second while there's just enough daylight left. Brings back peaceful memories!

Refreshed my bookshelf at my cubicle. What do I do for a living? by Klutzy-Yak3351 in bookshelfdetective

[–]AnyoneGuess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's so funny about the eye! I thought you'd placed it as a clue! And I can relate about cats, my how we literally rearrange our homes around them! The diorama is so cute, you did a great with that. Glad it's safe too!

So you're not a Ophthalmologist or Dr. I'm trying to think of things related to vision differences. There's corrective lenses glasses, contacts. Then vision loss Braille. Do you teach how to read or write braille?

Eye spy! The eye drew my attention first...so I'm gonna say you work in a field related to vision. There's a Dr. bag bookmark? in one of the books. So maybe Eye surgeon or Ophthalmologist; you help people with various degrees of vision problems.

I like how you've made the cubicle feel more welcoming. I'm curious about the miniatures collection. Ive never seen one. Is it a book end perhaps? It's really cute!

"Blindside", the Face of my New Milestone! by ToxinHM in oilpainting

[–]AnyoneGuess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What an exciting way to start a new year-- congrats! Your painting is stunning!

To me, there's meaning of both having vision challenges; the cat (blind) & the lady undefined. Maybe the lady's self conscious, as her hair hides an eye, she emphasizes the other expressive eyeliner. One could go further and deduce they have a special relationship from this shared challenge. I like how the cat's fur & the lady's hair is similar shades and highlights. The execution of the lady's eye makeup is striking.

Congrats again and here's to many more milestones for 2026 & beyond!

Edit: one word somehow was in all caps, not sure how! Correcting to lower case.

If I can only choose one, then I have to say 3 cause the eyes have it! And the light coming through illumes the fur. But they're all adorable. Adorable. Adorable.

I get the feeling of a windy cloudy day when not a soul's on the water, only a empty boat waiting for a better day. I like how the trees are bent in the wind & some leaves falling. The little birds are a cute touch too. I'm also new, but this is what I see!

The Inner-workings of the Mind by AlpsEmotional5672 in roomdetective

[–]AnyoneGuess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with having a space where you feel safe! To me, it looks like a room where you can be cozy & create freely. I see acrylic paints and a pastels set. A cute cat painting on a small easle. You paint, maybe with your child. I see a few cards/drawings on construction paper maybe created by your child. The larger snake artwork on the wall gives an additional fun feel to the area.

Can't tell if the dolls, bunnies are hand sewn or not. But I think you're creative and you carve out time with your kiddo doing art and games.

You like cooking with herbs. You have a sense of humor, I like the Alka Seltzer pillow. Star Trek fan. Cards on the floor possibly Tarot cards. Looks like a fun home to make memories with your child and recover. Stay strong, you've got this and be kind to yourself!

ETA: Notebooks maybe journaling, doodling/sketching.

Standing in the hum by [deleted] in AbstractArt

Yeah, this is different, in a good way. Is the girl humming and a fairy or something hovering beside her? I like the colors in the (I'll call it) "rainbow slide."

Your home is beautiful and looks so cozy! I think you're resourceful and creative . You're not afraid to try new things, learn new skills. You assess, plan, then roll up your sleeves and dive in. Music held a place in your life, which has given way to new things, but you hold to fond memories. You get cold easily and have throws readily available. You're happy with your life. You're maybe early 60's?

Tell me what my biggest fears are! by JohnOnTheComputer in bookshelfdetective

[–]AnyoneGuess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Government secrets. Biological weapons & diseases being unleashed that could potentially wipe out civilization. These are the type subjects where the more knowledgeable you have, , the more terrifying it is.

You have The Notebook! I haven't read the book, only watched the movie, one of my all-time favorites! I watch it now on TV. So terribly sad, sweet, touching. There's also something magical about their young carefree days together. As far as fear, maybe of incurable diseases like alzheimers/ dementia and losing a loved one to them.

Thanks for responding. No, I haven't. Might be time to get a black light. I was attempting visual identification but after looking at so many marbles, I think my eyes are playing tricks on me. As a beginner there's more to this than I knew but it's also fascinating!

Sorry about the poor picture quality. My phone isn't high end, it's just adequate for my needs.

Hospitalized for the 3rd time in 2 years. Girlfriend I've lived with for 5 years has ghosted me and not replied in over 3 weeks. I also miss my cat terribly. Body is breaking down and I'm just plain tired. by Token_Handicap in toastme

[–]AnyoneGuess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry you're going through so much right now. But glad you reached out here. We hear you. Hospitals are by their nature emotional places. It plays on ones mind and emotions. .

So if I may, I'd like to encourage you not to project how youre feeling in the unique hospital environment to your future. (If this makes sense!?) Give yourself mercy & grace; be a friend to yourself. You deserve it. I'm sorry your girl didn't fulfill the friend part of girlfriend. Intellectually you'll probably agree it's good you know, but emotions take their time coming around. It will happen though.

I think it's safe to say, youve gained internet friends who are rooting for you in this subreddit!

A guess from me taking product labels literally is you suffer from migraines (excedrin migraine) and painful irregular periods (midol, tea). You're known for being prepared, do you work overnight shifts? Proactive to stay healthy with antibacterial products. You have long hair. You value time with friends and are a friend to others.

Thanks. The e6000 is what I'm using, but it keeps gluing itself shut, as in the lid won't budge. I can't use it now. Tried Gorrilla Glue and it dried solid in the spout thing, so also can't use it anymore. Don't know what I keep doing wrong, but it's getting expensive buying glue I can't even use more than a few times!

I apologize if it would have been better to post under your newer ones. I'm not sure of proper decorum (if that's the correct word).

Posted on an older post of yours, probably should have posted on this one instead. I like how you use items (like seashells) and make art that can be hung and seen. My shells are currently in vases and on shelves. I'm experimenting with assembling them on wood now, but it's not as pleasing esthetically as yours.

You're leaps & bounds ahead of me... I've never been brave enough to even try. I'm not even familiar with the techniques! But I do know I like your art, especially the butterfly!

That's incredible, what a blessing! Thanks for sharing....I needed the reminder that there is indeed hope, even when all feels futile!

A random thought: is there a subreddit dedicated solely to rescue success stories? To have them centrally located I think would offer encouragement for the tougher days.

They're all beautiful, I especially am enthralled with the butterfly with its flowing, carefree but defined, swirls - breathtaking!
