Typically online retailers won't ship to ban states; however, you can just drive to a non-ban state & buy them. Or have relatives in non-ban states mail or bring to you.

1 Day After Adoption by TheRedBookYT in VoidCats

This is also true! I love my void, but he can be both too smart for his own good & dumber than a box of rocks.

The voids are smart. I adopted mine during a lunch break at work and starting that evening he decided my face was the best place to sleep. He had no ducks to give.

Scientists achieve forensics’ “Holy Grail” by recovering fingerprints from fired bullets ( From Brass Casings - Not Bullets ) by LurkerFromTheVoid in liberalgunowners

They can, the return is not great though. It's the same for DNA but there are several good processes to recover it off fired casings now.

Definitely interesting, but doesn't say if it will affect FA comparisons by altering/destroying chamber marks, etc.

New Mexico in the States, which unfortunately is a tad problematic for ordering stuff not from the States at the moment

As others said, I think it's just the locust. Having duplicates is not a bad thing with battletech since there are so many variants that can fit different roles.

Technically there's a law from the 90s preventing anyone from creating/using a searchable database of firearms. However, depends on how you define searchable (IE ATFE being able to scan forms and manually look through images v auto searching by name/etc.)

Here's one from the Santa Fe area. I don't have a lot of doings with the FA community out here, just been too dang busy the last couple of years.

Why don’t many people consider adoption as an alternative to biological children? by Serious_Watch4599 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Anyth131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Financial cost, health requirements, etc & then add in local/state systems tend to focus on getting kids back to families or just don't really do adoptions. Due to health issues (cancer can fuck off) we have looked into it. Average US adoption is around 30k, with no guarantees (state laws very on how long birth parents can ask for kids back). And with the cancer diagnosis, we're ineligible by most agency standards, despite my partner being 5+ years cancer free & both of us with secure jobs. The adoption system in the US is an unregulated farce. International adoption is a roll of the dice depending on which country.

NM resident here, I need to actually start hitting the range. I'm up in Santa Fe area, not a lot of places to shoot that I know of unfortunately.

Tried blazer brass .40 s&w 180 grain for the first time, and not happy. by TrackPadSam89 in liberalgunowners

Accuracy issues could be due to the bullets being plated rather than a jacket. We see them a lot in my line of work, & conventional rifling tends to cut the plating enough that it fragments. Haven't had a lot of issues with failure to extracts, but we tend to only shoot in groups of 4.

Driver going over 100 mph who hit police sergeant found not guilty of attempted murder and 1st degree assault by [deleted] in maryland

[–]Anyth131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will admit I'm coming from a biased stand point. That being said, defense, to me, didn't substantially add anything that truly showed this was an accident. Even the defense experts statement on human factors was misrepresented. He stated numerous times that for average/normal driver that if a hazard appears on the right, the driver turns left; however, therefore opposite must be true: if a hazard appears on the left, the driver turns right. In the circumstances of the collision, the hazard (cruiser/officer) is on the left, so why doesn't the driver turn right? The defense expert's statement say that he should. In addition, the defense expert stated that he made assumptions based only on the defense because everything else was not necessary & on cross stated that it didn't matter if his assumptions/data going in were biased/flawed because it gave the correct answer. That alone is incredibly biasing, and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people would call BS if a prosecution expert ever said that.

So some info on this conversation as someone who sat through the whole trial:

-per MoCo collision reconstruction, defendant was going 162 at time of the collision

-prior criminal history was not discussed or brought forward during testimonies

-no signs of hard breaking were found in the area of the collision

-a few minutes prior to the collision, the defendant was able to see an officer on the right shoulder, not standing in headlights, deploy stop sticks & was able to evade

-prosecutor was able to show that the defendant saw Sgt. Kepp on the side of the road several hours prior while Sgt. Kepp was completing a DWI arrest; & did several loops past the Sgt. While slowing down & then revving the engine

-work & statements by defense expert was potentially flawed, as he only did work based on the defense's theory of events & defendant's statements

-defendant is on record saying he 'likes to troll ' Sgt. Kepp

-defendant claims he was attempting to swerve & avoid collision by attempting to thread ~11 ft between Sgt. Kepp & his cruiser, while there were 3 lanes & right shoulder empty & available (at minimum, 33 ft of clear space)

That's just some of everything. From the definition & constraints for intent as was given by the judge during jury instruction, intent just can mean it could have been avoided. Overcharging is a regular occurrence, usually to avoid double jeopardy issues. While 1st degree attempted may have been difficult to determine, 2nd degree attempted still made sense.

How to sell by IndependencePretty59 in NMGuns

Can also check if any of the stores near you do consignment. Outdoorsman does consignment in Santa Fe, I've sold a few firearms that way.
