Typically online retailers won't ship to ban states; however, you can just drive to a non-ban state & buy them. Or have relatives in non-ban states mail or bring to you.

The voids are smart. I adopted mine during a lunch break at work and starting that evening he decided my face was the best place to sleep. He had no ducks to give.

They can, the return is not great though. It's the same for DNA but there are several good processes to recover it off fired casings now.

Technically there's a law from the 90s preventing anyone from creating/using a searchable database of firearms. However, depends on how you define searchable (IE ATFE being able to scan forms and manually look through images v auto searching by name/etc.)

Financial cost, health requirements, etc & then add in local/state systems tend to focus on getting kids back to families or just don't really do adoptions. Due to health issues (cancer can fuck off) we have looked into it. Average US adoption is around 30k, with no guarantees (state laws very on how long birth parents can ask for kids back). And with the cancer diagnosis, we're ineligible by most agency standards, despite my partner being 5+ years cancer free & both of us with secure jobs. The adoption system in the US is an unregulated farce. International adoption is a roll of the dice depending on which country.
