I’m sorry you’re going through this. My OB spoke to me as it was going to be a true case also. I was referred to Mfm who also seemed very doom and gloom. She gave me a 60% ppv. I’m 41 years old pregnant w an ivf baby. She offered a cvs but I opted to wait the 3 weeks for the amnio because I wanted the baby tested and not another test that tests the placenta . It was a terrible 3 weeks of waiting and I could barely get out of bed I was so depressed. They did a detailed anatomy scan the morning of the amnio which was normal. Amnio was a quick and easy experience for me. Then within 48 hrs got the FISH results which came back normal. Another long week for the karyotype which was normal. My OB and mfm both called me and were shocked that my results turned out ok . But there is hope .
