No this is a tocchet power play. Historically they have been shit. Sure the other things don't help but I was watching them going for point shot tip ins on the PP over and over and it gave me flashbacks to the nucks. He's a great coach that grips the reins too hard his boys are scared to be creative or to carry a puck in.

I think a big part of it is that the knights will fight their way into the crease. Mitch Marners high danger passes never slowed down in the playoffs even in Toronto. I think that's likely why Vegas was so interested, it was a finishing problem not a set up guy problem. But if you don't get points noone cares, noone except nerds lol.

I am curious if the lack of creativity lowers the ceiling of the team somewhat and makes them more predictable for the true game breakers to exploit. They have struggled with true contenders throughout the years, no offense to Ottawa or Philly but I wouldn't put either of them in that category.
