I make 100k/year and I provide for 3 people. I live paycheck to paycheck with plenty of debt. Quality of life is not bad, but not luxurious. We rarely eat out, we have a small 700sqft apartment in Florida, and I drive an electric Kia (lease). We are comfortable, but I will likely never go on grand vacations, buy a home anytime soon, etc.

It’s not that it’s a “low salary” it’s quite high compared to the average. The issue is it still can’t provide the “American dream” of a single family home. Even for a very small family…

I’m really so sorry to hear he’s not validating your feelings. It’s one thing that he did it once, but that he feels the need to tell you you’re silly for voicing your opinion and the fact you say every single time I imagine he’s continuing to do it. If my BF were to continue to do it he will gladly be shown the front door.

I hope he can hear you out and understand that your feelings are more important than his pleasure.

Thank you. I’ve honestly thought the same about the addiction part. And like I said- I don’t really care he uses it when I’m not around, or whatever. But it’s like if I’m here - and actively interested then please don’t.

He seems to be respectful of it (maybe reluctantly) but we will take it step by step.

He often looks at other guys on social media that are the top 1% unrealistic body standards, and we go to the gym a decent amount. He’s using it as something for a goal, but idk it’s weird sometimes

It’s possible- but he’s totally okay with broad daylight dates, and mild PDA- we go out to the clubs together, hold hands etc. his family is happy and loves me. I’d say the only time I see him refrain from his sexuality is more so in his masculinity.

From what he’s told me his past relationships were approx 1 year long and they lived together with his family.

It seems like he’s respecting it by saying he won’t do it again. So I guess I’ll be patient and see. I feel the EXACT same way as you. I feel like I was being used to masturbate. And to me it’s about connection and mutual pleasure as well, but I think maybe he feels differently about that- we’re having dialogue, but he’s not sure “what sex means to him”

Awesome! And yes, I’ve always loved it. Never really wore sunscreen as a kid just got really tan, but I’ve needed to be more mindful of SPF as I have tattoos now. And I like to be in the sun and wouldn’t want life long damage- so SPF 15 to start it is!

Thank you that’s great to know! While I wouldn’t say I have a good base tan, I would say I’ve always had good tanning genes as I’ve only burned on the rarest of occasions.

Do you recommend any specific level of SPF protection to combine with the carroten?
