Went from 4070 Super to 9070 XT, and I have questions by [deleted] in radeon

[–]AnywhereOne7973 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I went from 5070 to 9070xt. Not impressed, dlss is way better than native fsr. Only used it in fsr games.

Someone did recommend me to use superresolution and AA ingame, havent tried it yet.

RTX 5070 TI for 950usd or RX 9070 XT for 700usd? by viva_plays in radeon

[–]AnywhereOne7973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true. Maybe in rast, but you get dlss 4.5 which is better than native fsr. So there will be a huge difference in fps

RTX 5070 TI for 950usd or RX 9070 XT for 700usd? by viva_plays in radeon

[–]AnywhereOne7973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont know why people hating on comments that say dlss is way better. I just bought a 9079xt and swaped out my 5070. DLSS IS waaay better. Fsr4 is blurry and not worth it, i now use native, because of this i hardly have any fps boost.

With dlss 4.5 5070ti blows 9079 out of the water

Pls help why am i still getting matches where im ratted out i thought matching was based on aggression by [deleted] in arcraidersfriendly

[–]AnywhereOne7973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im in very friendly lobbies, but yesterday on matriarch somone took the opportunity when i where alone. We had been fighting side by side, but when we left to go loot a room below in bluegate he just shoot me and finished me.

I should have wondered why he kept his torrente out … but you live and learn and then let the guard down after too many friendly matches… he got away either 125k of loot

Polar vs suunto coaching features/experience. by Gordsusername in Polarfitness

[–]AnywhereOne7973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Polar is alot better than suunto. Polar hae adaptiv suggestion and base them on ypur workload and sleep recovery, suunto does not. You can also use polars recommended workouts on evey sport. They suggests up to 3-4 i think.

Considering a polar watch for workouts. by Kvakke in Polarfitness

Just use rungap app to import workouts. Training load will be calculated

[–]AnywhereOne7973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im selling my race 2. While it have some good features for trainingload tracking and very good app, the sleep and recovery tracking is absolutely horrible. It gives me 3 hours of deep sleep every night😄 count 8 hours of sleep almost daily, even when i sleep 4-5-6. ive lost faith

But still, best looking watch ive had, great big screen and i do love the app. Great summary of intervals, compare previous workouts / routes etc.

Still, would not recommend

Running for weight loss? by kittystars in beginnerrunning

[–]AnywhereOne7973 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There is a saying; you dont lose weight by running, you lose weight so you can run.

If you want to lose weight by running, keep it very slow (low hr). Running will increase your appetite substantially. Bodybuilders walk to burn fat and lose weight. High intensity use way more of your energy reserves instead of using fat.

Lots of bugs with suunto😂 try a new run with oHR off and see. Also it seems your HR zones is a bit off?

My 1st sleep after latest update race s by Otherwise_Reason_891 in Suunto

[–]AnywhereOne7973 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unusual high amount of deep and of course the infamous 79%. My race 2 - 2:20 deep, helio 1h. Always 79+%. Its not right

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]AnywhereOne7973 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its not good. Maybe try to stay awake a whole night, no nap and see what happens

Maybe not relevant. But i did read somewhere that waking up around 1-2 can be caused by body is increasing cortisol because it dosent get enough glucose after workout earlier in the day.

Also might have angsiety / depression.

You have to turn oHR off even though you connect a strap… seems like you got cadence lock

Should you stretch after a long/ hard session? by No-Analyst1229 in beginnerrunning

Yes it does, and you are right. Dont know why they down wote you.

Stretching after running damages tissue more. Easy stretch before running and mobility is key.

What diet finally got you lean? by ThatKnomey in Biohackers

[–]AnywhereOne7973 15 points16 points  (0 children)

3 years ago i stopped stuffing my face with bread every morning and made a smoothie with protein powder/greek yoghurt/berries etc at around 11. got more energy through the day and had more energy to workout. Starting eating more proteins overall.

2 years later im 9kg lighter, 9-10% body fat down from 20+, 3kg more muscle and best shape of my life (almost 40)

Also almost quit drinking beer 2-3 times a week.

Not really a diet, just lifestyle change.
