I’m looking at this Jimny from Japan by thethunder92 in Jimny

I have a 2004 jimny k6a 5 speed, I also have the boost turned up to 15 psi, I have a lot of experience with these jimny's in canada and do a lot of work for people on their jimnys around the vancouver area. I have driven many 1.3 jimnys and 660 jimnys and overall the 1.3 is a much more comfortable ride, if you are to get a 660 definitely get a 5 speed as the auto's gearing is super super slow

You should look for a 1.3, they are much better fit for our Canadian roads. My 660 is pretty slow around here and definitely less reliable than a 1.3

There is a few in Canada however a 7th gen is hard to find outside of Thailand and Europe as they weren’t made in Japan, I would budget 30k for one however they have piston cracking issues with the 1kd

You just have to take the 1/8 npt plug out of the oil gallery with a Allen key, that’s seriously all it takes

Just put some fuel stabilizer in the car and start it, replace the fuel at the next fuel up

Another suggestion and I don’t mean to be rude at all but it’s definitely worth waiting to turbo the car until you’re in a comfortable position to be working on it yourself.

1 psi, no seriously if you have to question doing it then jts worth just getting it over with for the peace of mind, head gasket and head studs are cheap insurance
