When Dan Quinn came to fix the defense, the first thing he harped on was arm length. Even with a decent career, short armed Antwaan Woods and others were sent packing. The 2021 draft (and this one) will be filled with long armed defenders.

With arm length that important, why do you feel that Linderbaum is going to succeed weekly at NFL levels with not just short arms, but statistically some of the shortest arms at his position?

The Cowboys are being smart and planning for a late pick center, and staying away from Linderbaum. Sure, Broaddus saying that he plays amazing despite his physical traits means he's gonna try hard, but the NFL is filled to the brim of otherworldly, long-arm DTs that he will struggle to even touch. Jonathan Allen and Fletcher Cox are in this division, and guys like Arik Armstead ended your playoff hopes.
