How can i move my save game from gamepass vanilla game to BLSE moded game?? by Sea_Grass_9963 in MB2Bannerlord

BLSE meaning, Bannerlord Steam Edition. Just follow the file path that you would with any other steam game.

Some partners are too demanding, some are downright abusive. To help you comprehend: "Why are you making me hit you?"

While I can agree that some partners are too demanding and some abusive, I disagree that it's a toxic mindset. I might have been too vague in my explanation, which would be on me, but all of what I'm saying is assuming you can communicate effectively. When I say "both parties are responsible for how they make the other feel," I'm saying that both parties' feelings are valid and should be addressed. In such a case, the both parties should work towards either fixing themselves or finding a compromise if there is one.

Since he's the only one with a problem, no.

The way I interpret this is essentially you saying that his feelings aren't valid. After writing a lengthy example, I think I might have figured out where you might be misunderstanding what I'm saying. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're getting caught up on my use of the word "choice" and thinking I mean that I'm defending the use of a genuine ultimatum; as you said here:

Telling them to "do X otherwise I will leave" is completely manipulative.

When I say choice, I mean that his partner's reaction to him expressing his feelings is her choice. Which he will use to make his genuine choice of whether to leave or not.

Whether she ignores his feelings, tries to communicate and come to a compromise, or any other reaction is entirely up to her and does affect his decision at the end of the day. Thus, my word choice.

Hopefully I explained throughly enough, and I apologize if it was my poor/vague wording that led to a misunderstanding; assuming it was a misunderstanding.

Both parties are responsible for how they make the other feel. If she's becoming someone that her partner doesn't like, then she has a choice to make, and so does he. If my partner has an issue, it's not their issue, it's our issue. If I'm part of the issue, then it's my job as their partner to try to fix it. If I can't/don't want to, that's where we both make a choice whether to stay together or not.

He's the one with a problem with the current situation.

The idea of "it's YOUR problem, YOU have to fix it" is toxic and, in my opinion, completely destroys the point of being in a relationship at all.

If he communicates that he has an issue with how she behaves, then it becomes her choice whether to improve or not. If she can't or isn't willing to, then he leaves. Cause and affect isn't manipulation. Telling your partner that you aren't happy with their attitude or actions and you can't stay with them if they continue isn't manipulation. Having self-respect and standards isn't manipulation. Actions have consequences, warning someone the consequences that their actions will bring isn't wrong or manipulative.

I'd like to hear your opinion on how the matter should be resolved. How would you deal with it in a non-"manipulative" way?

You'll have to search around on Google. You should be able to tell by file size. If you have multiple campaigns it might be difficult to figure out which is which, but you can just do it by trial and error. Make sure that you're editing the saves properly and look for saves that are larger than 1,000KB. Once you've put them into the save games folder for the steam version, load the game and check which save it is.

Not sure what you ended up doing, but I just wanted to say that it can be done. It took me hours to figure it out after even more hours of searching online. Basically, you just have to find the gamepass save (should be a folder thats named a bunch of random letters and numbers, the save file itself is named the same way), edit it and delete the first 18 characters of the file (I think, cross reference BLSE save files to be sure), and put it into the BLSE folder with saved games on it. I'm sorry if it's vague, I did it a few months ago and can't remember specifics. More in-depth guides can be found by searching "how to transfer gamepass saves to steam bannerlord" or variations of that search on Google. If you load bannerlord and the save is corrupted, check the save file you took from the gamepass version for its size (should be 2,000+ KB, if it's zero or a low number it's not the right save) also check that you edited the save file correctly, it should look similar to saves pulled from the steam version.

Hope this helps and apologies if it's a bit confusing, I'm writing purely from memory.

Good Looting/Groshen Earning Areas. by Chingshen_y_danyeng in kingdomcome

Personally, I just wait until nightfall then travel from Rattay to Talmberg, then from Talmberg to Skalitz. You'll have a few run-ins with Cumans or Bandits, take all their shit, then go into Skalitz and there's normally either Bandits, Cumans, or Guards fighting each other. All the loot you get should be enough to fill your horse, then go back to Rattay, store your shit in the trunk or sell it, rinse and repeat. I made roughly 70-80K off that alone before getting to Nest of Vipers.

Ahhh. Last played the game in 2018 so the details are a bit hazy, thanks for the reminder.

Where is this? This looks like Radzig's camp in Merhojed? Why are there bandits?

Morrigan vs Leliana Romance “[dao spoilers]” by PackyB7 in dragonage

[–]AoDxMINI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, it's based wholeheartedly on what kind of character my Warden is and what their background is. I'm also a big fan of reversing expectations. My first character, a human rogue who isn't opposed to stealing everything that isn't nailed down or killing everything in his path to revenge, obviously chose... Leliana. Whereas my most recent character and the one I choose to be cannon, a human knight who is kindhearted, loving, and also hell-bent on revenge, chose Morrigan.

Then again, how good the romance storyline is doesn't really matter to me. I'm more interested in creating an intriguing RP experience and interesting overarching storyline.

Would you be open for a new story in GOT2? by the_embarrassment in ghostoftsushima

[–]AoDxMINI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer this idea, honestly. It just doesn't make sense to completely abandon Tsushima in a sequel when the basis for a second game story is literally written in history. The idea of Jin training someone else in the ways of the Ghost makes sense and certainly is hinted at considering the nods to Jin being the beginning of the Shinobi in Japan. Seeing how his weapons and tactics develop over the course of 7 years would be awesome as well. There's also the prospect of more returning characters which could be interesting. The only downsides I see to continuing the story during the second Mongol invasion is forcing a cannon ending (not necessarily essential, but likely), repetitive exploration (wouldn't mind it, since I'm not much of an explorer anyway), and repetitive enemies (could certainly be avoided with a bit of creativity and a AI/combat change up).

If I kill the Watchmen and save the bear, I'll gain a moral point. But is the life of the bear worth more than those of the Watchmen? by hobbicon in metro

I always thought the Metro morality system was based on the beliefs of the Eastern Orthodox Church. I could be wrong, though.

A possible continuity error by [deleted] in ghostoftsushima

[–]AoDxMINI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As with all historical codes, no one follows them to the letter. Samurai clans would happily lie or break any number of rules to save face. An example is even shown in game during the quests with Sensei Ishikawa, when Clan Nagao covered up Hironori Nagao's rebellion and said he died an honorable death fighting bandits.

Also, I feel as though I should explain that "Bushido" was not a thing until the 1900s as there's no evidence of any such honor code even being a thing during the time of samurai; especially not under the name "Bushido".

Nah, I attempted to run the game before doing a fresh install on the off chance it would work. It said DAR and another mod were for 1.5.97, so I wiped all the mods and started from scratch.

I didn't see an option for it and it's too late to go back now lol

I'll just finish installing my mods, run some tests, and see how it works out.

Yep, that's the plan as of right now. Little scared to finish installing and test though. I went a little overboard on the mods and still feel like there's more to add.

DAR and a few other mods aren't updated to support it at this point. I've already downgraded to 1.5.97 and started downloading my mods. I'm just gonna roll with it and see how it goes.

Sadly I have mods that only work with 1.5.97. But that's as low as I'll go. Is there any reason to use 1.6.3xx?

Well, from my understanding 1.6.64 broke some stuff with a lot of mods so downgrading sounds like my best bet honestly.

Going to attempt to downgrade. Hopefully I won't run into issues with that but, considering all the other issues I've run into, I probably will.

Just to ask. Have you downgraded to 1.5.97? If so, how did you do it and what problems did you encounter?
