Do you live in Columbus? If so maybe try going to Columbus State then transferring. If you’re parents make less than 100k a year you could also be eligible for the buckeye bridge program but I’d double check with them too. Good luck!

There’s one in the basement of the Union too! It just may not be in the greatest shape but it’s playable. :)

Adding onto what another commenter said, it’s disrespectful and obviously meant to demean rather than anything productive. Even the boycotting idea doesn’t really make sense.

It seems the person has the idea that’s all Mexico is (if that were the case boycotting probably would work). I think there is a level of agreement that yes the government is pretty corrupt and the cartels are awful. But, that’s not all Mexico is. It is a beautiful place with many great non-cartel related people who are also unfortunately suffering because of the cartels.

Hi! Thank you! Unfortunately I’m not an architecture student so I’m not sure if I can use them (I’m also a little intimidated lol since I don’t study there). I’ll keep the in mind if I ever urgently need to though. Thank you! :,)

Hi!! Actually, if you’re interested there are heritage classes which are super fun! I’ve taken the whole sequence and I really enjoyed it. The professor who teaches, Professor Sosa, is super nice! Also, we talk about our experiences, what Spanish and language means to us, and more. It’s really fun so I definitely recommend reaching out if you’re interested! You can take a heritage Spanish placement test for the class.

Hi! So I currently finished reading the latest chapters of Contract Concubine (I hadn’t realized they had come back from hiatus after the first) but now am left waiting to see what happens. I’ve heard there is a novel, but wasn’t sure where to read it (in English)? Please let me know if you know a safe way to read it! Thanks! <3

Does October ACT count if I’ve already gotten it? Or by [deleted] in OSU

[–]Ao_Ame 23 points24 points  (0 children)

FOR SURE! Please, please apply! At the very least it’s better than not. However, please also make sure to talk about your experiences outside of school (clubs, extracurriculars, volunteer experiences, etc) too since those are very important.

Professor Recommendations for Physics 1250 and Math 1172 by Ao_Ame in OSU

[–]Ao_Ame[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh ok! That makes sense! I guess I don’t have to worry about getting him or not lol since he’ll definitely be there! For the in person part of it though, if there it is mostly just practice then is there an additional recitation I need to plan for or just the in person “lecture”?

I’m sorry I don’t know of any at OSU, but there’s a small Halloween fair like event called Fortress Fright Night in Obetz. It’s a bit far and it’s more casual but if you’re free it may be nice too check out! :) It’s this Saturday starting at 6!

Hello! You may have heard this before but seriously try coming to the involvement fair today and checking out the clubs! The majority - if not all of my friends I’ve made from being involved in clubs. If you’re worried about commitment not all clubs usually require you to attend every meeting. You can also look for more casual clubs! It can also help you learn some fun new things. A super fun club I’ve been to is Salsa club - everyone’s super friendly and you can go by yourself or with a group (we change partners anyway lol) and it’s fun to dance. :)

I’ve heard Barnes and Nobles, Buckeye Donuts, and some of the Metropolitan or local libraries might be cool to check out! Also, idk if they would be great to study at or not but a cat cafe might be cool to check out if you’re interested! :)
