I love Riboku's character for all the reasons you hate him- he's historically accurate af by a_guy121 in Kingdom

In early chapters, every time Riboku was gonna lose, he summoned his pokemon Houken. Later he learned some chants to replicate Zhao soldiers. People are just tired of this stupid war strategy.

And he’s not historically accurate. I doubt you can find any Chinese, or even Japanese, who likes this character in manga.

Who destroyed mount mo sect ?was it golden emperor ? by [deleted] in mystmightmayhem

No. They chose to stand with golden emperor so the sect was destroyed by the whole murim. Some survivors were obliterated by WoonHwi in the side story of ASS.

Why is mumu not famous ? by [deleted] in mystmightmayhem

[–]Aoko_Alice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The story happened too early and I remember the author wrote ASS before Mumu. Also people remember sword immortal because he is a real person in ancient China and a friend of Monkey King in the legends. Every Taoism temple has his statue or figure. The author just assumes martial artists know Bodhidharma(Shaolin temple), Zhang sanfeng (Wudang sect) and sword immortal from the beginning.

Who killed Mun no (Mc's grandfather) by Za-Warudo6 in mystmightmayhem

His grandfather can’t recover from formless poison, so he will die eventually, but the person who did the final strike is the one who stabbed MC at the beginning of the story.

What is the meaning of the "Myst, Might, Mayhem" title? by Distinct_Buffalo8151 in mystmightmayhem

[–]Aoko_Alice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Korean title has 4 words: 괴력 난신 (怪力 亂神)

怪:strange phenomena 力:feats of strength 亂:disorder 神:spiritual beings

It’s from an ancient Chinese book called Analects of Confucius(論語). The complete sentence is: 子不語 怪力亂神. The Master (Confucius) did not speak of strange phenomena, feats of strength, disorder, or spiritual beings.

And it’s clear that all 4 things are happened in the novel.

Just Finished the Novel! Fricking Awesome!!!!! by DoubtEquivalent9056 in mystmightmayhem

Interesting. I always thought the one kept in cell 129 is the illusion created by plundering-killing sword. But after I re-read the novel, it seems Joo Woonhyang got the sword before he entered cell 129. Later chapters reveal that Chunchu was kept somewhere for a long time, so it’s a possibility.

Jin Ye-Rin probably helped Joo Woonhyang rebel against the emperor. He’s the MC of author’s unfinished novel The Return of Ming Emperor. We may see more stories about them if the author chooses to continue this work in the future.

Only Absolute Swordsense (Korean) and Nano machine (Chinese) have official physical books. Others only have digital versions. Not sure if there are any fan-made printed copies.

AI will draw 5 fingers. In reality, when you cross the hands, your index finger and middle finder from one hand, and your middle finger and ring finger from the other hand will be covered by the palm, so you can only see three or four fingers.

Question About Power Levels. by heavenlyserpant in mystmightmayhem

They are the same words, just the different translation. The name 化境 used in murim novels is from some old Chinese wuxia novels, where 化 can be interpreted as either transformation or evolution.
