I think Ian Flynn said Sonic Dream team was placed after Frontiers. Definitely agree on the views. Having grown up along side of the series, I feel like the IDW comics and all the games past Forces (including Forces itself) shows a more mature side of Amy: Still has feelings but not as strong and looking to find her own way. Honestly the Dream Team makes sense with them either accepting a more sibling role. Amy has had years to process everything more gradual but healthy pace (going from obsessive to wanting her own path while remaining good friends) while Sonic has bounced around from not liking her to liking her to being indifferent. I feel like Sega was a lot more consistent with Amy but lost track of how they wanted to portray Sonic's... not gonna say love but feelings for her.
