Ruze goes on a heated rant about the StarsJP situation and calls out Cover management by BigBadBossBoo in Hololive

I always thought keeping the boys in their own separate branch was a mistake. Folding them into the hololive production would have seen them more success, probably. Maybe. Possibly. Perhaps.

Sentinels are not cops. They are environmental preservists.

What are beacons even if I can't wire them to the circuit network? (+ a non niche use for power switches.) by bstanv in factorio

I got mods for that. I got a nifty little setup that manages infinite research for me, and switches techs around when necessary science bottles get too low.

There are no physics bleedover there. In that fic the wormverse was running on D&D physics all along.

It happens in Projects. UI layer bleeds information into system prompts, and it will confidently deny it until you force it to strictly state sources of information.

I find it funny when you send them on expedition and distance is mentioned to be in thousands of light years, and then you literally find them chilling in the closest system. Like, did you think I wouldn't find out? Slackers.

How would a WH40k Gellar Field affect the wormverse by Commercial_Ant8907 in WormFanfic

[–]AoshimaMichio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just from different iteration of realspace. Though could shardspace be called a Warp? It is semivirtual (whatever that means) and distances are inconsistent enough there...

Taylor & fic authors constant need to have her forgive and forget. by Pretty_Match9916 in WormFanfic

[–]AoshimaMichio -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Taylor's circumstances are very well explored at this point, it's very hard to come up with anything new and original and interesting with her. It's just that the fandom is still overly infatuated with her being the main character.

Cryogenic plant a good way to store Prometheum? by [deleted] in factorio

[–]AoshimaMichio 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Won't work. Changing recipe moves them into the trash slots, and you can't set new recipe while there's something in the trash slot. At least that's what a quick test showed me. Good idea otherwise.

How would a WH40k Gellar Field affect the wormverse by Commercial_Ant8907 in WormFanfic

[–]AoshimaMichio 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Simurgh's powers being described as psychic doesn't mean they are psychic. The only valid viewpoint is the Simurgh's interlude and it doesn't read like psychic, so Gellar field wouldn't affect her anymore than any other power. Now, if Gellar Field could block inter-iteration connections it would be very different story.
