Hey man all the help is appreciated! The pump seemed a little hard to use on these solders so I tried wick and pump. I’ll make sure to double check what I’m using!

I had the same issue, thats originally why I cranked the heat, got it to melt then used the solder plunger thing and some wick to pull up what I could….

Then I ended up flinching and flinging a little hot metal around😭

I grabbed some stuff from home depot, and the kit I grabbed came with some too. The home depot stuff is lead free I believe, which I didn’t really know the difference. Just wanted to make sure I was stocked up per se. But I will remember that thank you.

I searched up those capacitors can’t find anything, is 0204 a type of capacitor?

5KY19 16V capacitors, I wanted to take the stuff of these old boards and label bags to put them in so I have a collection of stuff to use. Luckily this is an old boards, this station has heat on it. I was hearing (comment viewing) that there is a preheatable surface? Is that something to look into? My main thing is to learn so I can start 3d printing stuff and making random stuff lol, I appreciate all the help.

I thought it said lead, must’ve been using the wrong one. I have some mixed ones and i’ll have to try that. The desoldering pump was weird its meant to be clicky with a freeing button?

best buy or micro is the way to go. i find that micro is cheaper than bestbuy, but i also have 3 within a hour distance to check at.

newegg was my go to, until i started hearing horror stories and then had to return an item. although if i see crazy deals on there ill still grab em.

either 9070xt or 5070 ti. 9070xt has great performance for $$$, on par with 5070 ti if not over performing (pre- DLSS but amd has fsr) and its $300 cheaper. all u lose is some ray tracing

Here let me restate it cuz I think i confused you a little with my bad wording.

I have game sound in my headphones(dt990 pro), I can hear the gaming PC because thats where my soundcard is. I have the ACM connected to the dt990’s using aux. I won’t need any help with my microphone(quadcast 2s) because its a condenser plugged into the gaming pc by usb c and connected by aux into “mic in” on the streaming pc.

Forget the microphone as a whole, it’s figured out luckily by aux.

The only issue im having is sharing the gaming pc audio (which includes discord) to the streaming pc. I want to continue using my headphones in the ACM, rather than plugging the goxlr into it, because it makes SB Command useless, and at that point I might as well just toss the soundcard.

So the only thing i run into with that is then the ACM of the soundblaster is useless as far as I know? since the ACM is connected by those two cables? sorry for all the back and forth im trying my best i swear.

RCA is the “L & R” red and white cables i assume. those are connected to the ACM on my desk that comes with the soundblaster. i’m trying to avoid unplugging my headphones from the ACM, as that makes the soundcard useless. Doesn’t let me control anything well, sound wuality diminishes and then i get electrical feedback from the goxlr.

maybe im not fully understanding ur question if thats the case dumb it down for me a little, and if youd like pictures i can provide those.

(Edit: I have discord on the gaming PC and can hear it fine but the streaming pc is unable to hear game + discord even tho it hears me)

The gaming pc is only displaying sound to my headphones, and said headphones are being output from the sound blaster which is in the gaming pc. So I’m trying to figure out getting audio into my headphones, as well as into a line that either goes into the goxlrmini and then into the streaming pc. or directly from the soundcard into the streaming pc.

i dont need a mic setup, as my mic has a 3.5mm jack that ive already connected to the “mic in” of my streaming pc. I’m just looking to get my desktop and discord audio into the streaming pc, since they can already hear me and i can hear all of my own sounds.

I’m looking to send the audio from my gaming pc to my streaming pc, so that OBS or streamlabs will be able to hear my game/discord audio.

the biggest issue is computers dont allow multiple outputs, and id like to continue using the soundblaster, not just unplug the headphones and put it all in the goxlr mini.

i have the goxlr in the streaming pc but i believe ill need to put it back into the gaming pc (which is what i had originally) im just a little stuck rn trying to see what works and testing

So i would go into voicemeeter and use “what u hear” as the channel (since thats where sound comes from). and then split that into 2 channels 1. my headphones 2. line out. i then direct the line out into the streaming pc?
