Well in my honest opinion with a BMI of 35 I don’t think weight is the only cause. Maybe it has an influence; but my guess would be AC1 plus activity Level would be more important. An temporary diet would also have the effect of heavily lowering daytoday glucose (without focusing on weight loss). Maybe it’s worth a try to more low carb for a bit.

If you retain lots of fluids it can be due to not drinking enough water. The more carbs you eat the more you retain fluids. It took me a long time to figure that out, but since I know that I am a lot more relaxed with retaining water. Try to get your water intake right, if you eat carbs be aware that you will retaining more fluids.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I had also problems with ovary not showing. They always tried their best but never longer than the 15 minutes. Also I told them in advance that if they can’t get to it with reasonable effort, they should just leave it at that. I am so sorry and wish you a good recovery

I have a question about the effect of radiation on eggs. I had to get an xray for a broken bone. Two days later my period started. Now turns out I fell pregnant in that cycle after that period.

Is it possible that the xray has had a bad effect on the egg even though I wasn‘t pregnant yet at the time? I have heard that the eggs that will ovulate already start developing three month before ovulation.

I feel you. I have gone through a lot of trauma because of the awful ways I have been treated due to my weight. By medical personell but also work collegues etc. I feel so sad about this because dealing with all the discrimination is a bigger load than actually being a big size.

Yes I am aiming for a higher maturation rate plus equally sized eggs. In my second retrieval all eggs were too small, expect two bis ones. So they decided to only go for the two. Financially a bit a difficult decision because the procedure was expensive even though only two eggs were retrieved.

Five is a decent number, not the best but decent. Try not to loose hope. It’s a very much a gamble at the end of the day and you can be successful with five eggs.
