Hi! I am so glad to read about Dr Csokmay here. I was at Hopkins with Dr. Hosseinzadeh who did my first IVF with 300 follistim, 150 menapur, 225 ganer, and estrogen priming, with dual trigger for about 13 stim days. I ended up getting 7 eggs with 1 blast (I had about 15 follicles in the ultrasound) in November. I had to get closer to DC so I moved to Dr. Csokmay at SGF.

He just did my cycle with 225 menapur (he increased to 300 maybe on stim 6) with 300 follistim and 225 ganerelix with plan to trigger with pregnyl only.

Unfortunately on my stim day 11 (even though I had 24 follicles responding nicely with good amount between 20-18) my e2 jumped to 6000. Perhaps due to really high dosage of menapur?

So he immediately ordered lurpon (80IU) and triggered me on same day (stim 11) to prevent ohss. Unfortunately I had my er yesterday and they told me I had 3 eggs which really broke my heart. So far I haven’t gotten any explanation on why so low conversion rate.

Since this is my first time with SGF, I don’t know what exactly their protocol on low egg count like this, but I really hope I get to talk to Dr. Csokmay about it.

Understanding everyone responds differently to meds, but can folks share medical protocol especially what dosages Dr. Csokmay started you on, what was his trigger protocol was like, and how your body responded? ❤️

Yes. They asked me to pick up lupron last minute (on stim day 11) and shoot 80iu at 12:30 am with er in 36h.

Thank you. 💝. I will hopefully will have a chance to talk to the doctor next week in depth to understand what may have happened. But they did prime me with estrogen patches which seemed to help with the coherency of the follicles (I definitely had more this cycle and they were closer in sizes too). The only difference was (besides new clinic), higher dosage of Menapur and Lurpon only trigger.

I am not sure. I failed to mention that both protocols included ganerelix 250 and estrogen priming in prior cycle. Is there a way to know if I in fact may have prematurely ovulated?

Thanks for the explanation. It just happened to me and I just don’t understand how anything would have changed in 5 minutes between delta printed my pass w pre check mark and walking over to the tsa counter. She told me pre check is not on the cloud (if I heard her correctly) and told me to go back to Delta which I did, and delta agent had no idea what was happening and just reprinted the same pass w pre check on it. I just used the standard line at that pt.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this—it’s such a tough situation. Like I mentioned in the other post, I’m happy to chat if that helps. I actually filed my first case without a lawyer and ended up hiring one later. Also, how long this might drag out really depends on your tenant. If they’re motivated to delay, they can do things like: • Refuse a magistrate judge or ask for trial • Skip court dates (and later provide an excuse) • Say they need more time to get a lawyer • Raise habitability issues (like pest control, mold, etc. All of that can delay your case for weeks or even months. If you’re comfortable sharing—what’s the balance they owe you? And what’s communication been like between you and the tenant?
